We're Steve and Naz - Vanlifers, Digital Nomads and World Travelers. We hope to inspire you to get OFF THE HAMSTER WHEEL to live a LIFE of FREEDOM and ADVENTURE.
This channel showcases some of our travels and experiences as we explore different cultures and countries. We also provide tips and advice on how to live and travel as digital nomads and live in a van.
Having been inspired by others, we decided to take a leap of faith and build our own little tiny home and start van life. We bought a 2018 van and travelling in it full-time.
Our goal is to step out in faith, intention and authenticity as we share our journey and hopefully inspire yours. We hope that our videos will inspire you to step outside of your comfort zone and live your dream… just like us… one step at a time.
Buckle up, subscribe, and join us on our journey.

We broke down! Van life problems in Drumheller, Canada!
All we wanted was to see Drumheller and it's numerous dinosaur fossils in Alberta, but something very unexpected happened!
When problem hits the fan and you don't know what to do and who to ask for help, things might get blown out of proportion as desperation takes ahold of your emotions.
A little bit about Drumheller:
Drumheller is famous for its large number of dinosaur fossils and ranks as one of the top places in the world for such discoveries.
Before the fossils were discovered, the city’s main source of income came from coal mining. Coal from Drumheller was important for local industries and homes during the early 1900s, helping the town grow.
The region around Drumheller is known as the "badlands," an area with steep hills, deep valleys, and unusual rock formations. These badlands are made up of clay, shale, and sandstone, which have been eroded over time, revealing many fossils hidden within the earth. The soil and rock in this area are ideal for preserving fossils, making it a key location for paleontologist studies.
In 1985, the Royal Tyrrell Museum (which we want to visit) of Paleontology was built to showcase the town’s fossil discoveries, and it has since become a major attraction for tourists and scientists. Tourism has become the town’s main source of income, replacing coal mining.
Roughly 3 to 5 thousand fossil specimens are still found in Drumheller yearly and they get sent to the Royal Tyrrell Museum.

Why we regret our van build, Van Life updates and new battery

One of our biggest fears was to build a layout which we could regret later on... unfortunately that happened and we don't know if anyone could ever avoid that regret. There's always something that could be improved. In this we talked to you guys about our brand new battery for the van and we also shared some updates for future plans. Wild camping in the Canadian Wilderness! VAN LIFE ADVENTURE

I guess you can called it wild camping too, also known as primitive camping - it involves camping in remote, undeveloped areas without the amenities found in designated campsites, such as restrooms, water, or electricity. One of the worse stenches ever!
I have been there at henties bay at desert rose and it's very fun I am from South Africa
We liked it too! What an experience!
I was the last month the 21st
One of the coolest places we’ve visited in South Africa!
My fiancé is from Goiania, going to visit her home city first time this christmas. She keps saying how boring it is, but I cannot wait, just a little paranoid over having the phone out of the streets. Until that I am learning through your videos haha
We are happy that we can help somehow haha. Where does she live in Goiânia? Some parts you should be careful about showing your phone on the streets but it was pretty safe when we visited. The food in the state of Goiás is the best! You will love it!
Everyone here uses cell phones on the streets regardless of the region, crimes are not common and it is a very safe city.
Great vid .. thanks for the good info .. cheers!
Thanks buddy! Have a great weekend!

The Canadian Rockies are the best! What was your favourite part of your road trip?
Hard to say… Everything is so beautiful but Peyto Lake definitely is one of top in our list! Preachers Point is another one of our favorites; lovely primitive camping with a view of the mountains.
Would have been nice if you showed the price of groceries!
We showed the price of a few items, but yes, we agree that showing how much things cost is helpful!
This video brought tears to my eyes, very true information. However, I was born in Windhoek, grew up in Walvis Bay, my love, my country, I will go back!!!!

oh ya, don't forget the winch
you all need a 4x4 to actually enjoy Canadian wilderness
We might get a 4x4 one day. What do you think off biffy tires for the meanwhile?
I'm watching you from northern Indiana.
How cool! Great to have you here!
Where is that place .what state I'm interested.
They are all in the province of Alberta, in and around the city of Hinton. The lookout point at the end is called Solomon Lookout, alongside Brule Road.
Hello from Seaforth Nova Scotia
Wow! Hello there! We hear so much about Nova Scotia! What places would you recommend us to visit there?
I'am watching from Chicago USA..
Hi there! How cool! We want to explore it there sometime. Any recommendations?
I'm watching from Seattle, Washington. Your Episode Title caught my eye because it had the word Canada in it. I am a Canadian (born & raised) but married and American and now I am a CanAmerican. I visited South Africa (Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe also) several years ago. Met many Beautiful People & went to many Beautiful Places.
You had us giggling on CanAmerica! How cool! We met great people from Malawi, Zambia, Zimbabwe when visiting South Africa and Namibia. The African people are indeed beautiful! Great to have another traveler here!
Just came across your channel. Watching from Niagara Falls, Ontario Canada. Going to be travelling Canada in a couple years as soon as my husband retires. So learning everything I can till then

Texas and spent the day working outside in 99 degrees F. Dreaming of building a van to ESCAPE to cooler weather.
We love Texas and visited it there a few times, fortunately, not when it was striking hot. You will love having a van and the freedom of going anywhere as the weather changes, specially if can do remote working or else retired. All the best on your plans!
Big Shout Out from Myrtle Beach, SC USA

Hi back! Saskatchewan is on our list... we really want to go there one day!
That site was AMAZING!! USA- Rhode Island Thanks for sharing!
Wow! Rhode Island! Great to have you here!! And about the site, it surprised us quite a bit and we loved it!!!
Hi, I'm watching from Arlington, Virginia which is a suburb of Washington, D.C. The scenery at your campsite is absolutely breathtaking. I have visited Canada many years ago and remember how very beautiful it was.
Wow! Hello there!! Canada is indeed beautiful and there's just so much to see! What places would you recommend us to visit in Washington D.C.? We plan on exploring the USA sometime.
The Smithsonian museums would be a good start, the Corcoran art gallery, the Washington Monument, Mount Vernon, Arlington Cemetery, the Kennedy Center, the Congressional Library, the National Arboreum, and just drive around to see the many government buildings downtown or stroll through the National Mall which is a beautiful park that would take you directly to the Capitol building. Georgetown has some great shops and restaurants but there are loads of good restaurants scattered all over DC with every kind of diverse food you can imagine. The SW part of town where the wharf is has great seafood places.
Watching from N.C. USA. You guys are in a beautiful country!
Naz here! I once read a book when I was a teenager and the story happened in N.C. I have dreamed of visiting it since then!! Thank you and it's great having you here!
@@steveandnaz yes there’s a lot of unusual stories from NC and the Blue Ridge Parkway, my moms family is Brinegar “Brinegar Cabin” which is a very nice place to visit also.
Watching from Toronto... interesting video - Thanks. I liked and subscribed!!!
Welcome onboard! Great to have you here, Glen!
A stark difference between the Walmart camping spot and the mountains towards the end! People don’t realize it, but the epic spots are few and far between 😆
Indeed! finding them is like mining for gold! 😂😂 All the best Guys!
Actually when in Canada all you need to do is open your eyes there is so much to see and do up here hopefully when in drumheller they visited the Royal Tyrell museum and the many other places here not just a quick stop for laundry and leave a card at the laundry you need at least a week here to see some of it if you only stopped for the time it took to do laundry then you missed a lot
Watching you folks from Vancouver 😂
Hi there, Sean! Good to have you here! 😂😂
