Kaloke's Mysteries
United States
เข้าร่วมเมื่อ 24 ก.ค. 2012
Hi! Happy to see you here. This channel is all about making things I want to see or hear, with a few suggestions from my audience. And if other people end up looking it, too, I'm glad! I'm primarily self-motivated in making videos and music, but if you have a suggestion for anything reasonable, feel free to suggest it!
I hope you know how much you matter to the people who care about you. Stay safe out there.
P.S. As of February 10 2024, this channel will go silent for two years for religious reasons. Depending on my motivations and plans after I return in 2026, this channel may or may not continue posting videos, but everything will be preserved. Thank you for watching, listening, and being a good person! Take good care.

Sonic & Knuckles Collection - Carnival Night Zone Act 1 (Re-arranged)
The Carnival Night Zone Act 1 music for S&K Collection, re-arranged to be more faithful to the original song.
Downloads:
drive.google.com/drive/folders/1AVcJTMaMl0Ok1a5j82B5Xgpg6as-M6xs?usp=sharing
The original MIDI was drastically changed to the point where it served mostly as a reference point for this arrangement. The lead was just a single square wave, there were only three instruments and a drum track, and much of the MIDI was just way off from the Nov. 1993 beta.
Does it sound a more like a carnival to you?
Changes:
- Tempo: Slowed tempo to 113 bpm to more closely match beta
- Organ 1: Instrument changed from Organ 2 to Organ 1; restored original rhythm and notes
- Synth Bass 2: Completely redid notes to match beta
- Square Wave: Split Square Wave into E. Piano 2, Clean Gt., and Synth Brass 2
- E. Piano 2: Restored original notes; added Delay effect to final section
- Clean Gt.: Restored original notes; plays during Section B
- Synth Brass 2: Acts as slight delay echo to E. Piano 2 during Section A
- Fantasia: Added new track to restore beta square wave notes
- Drums: Restored sections A & C rhythms; restored missing toms during section B fill
Special shoutout to the team at Church of Kondo for diligently researching and recording the best way to listen to the PC tracks of S&K. Take a listen if you haven't already!

Yamaha PSS-480 Demo - Oscilloscope Deconstruction
มุมมอง 8011 หลายเดือนก่อน
Demo music for the Yamaha PSS-480/490, deconstructed and visualized with oscilloscope. Recorded using a Yamaha PSS-480. I love this demo song. It's just so fun to me. My dad enjoys getting keyboards, whether or not we actually need them. But this sound module has been with us for a good long while, and of course I liked listening to this song. I recently looked it up, and decided to try and dec...
SSBM - Targets!-WIP 1
มุมมอง 67ปีที่แล้ว
Hi! I hope you're doing well. I'm working on a semi-accurate recreation of Melee's Break the Targets! music. I invested in the Roland Sound Canvas VST and realized I could give this project a try. I'm learning from the experience, perhaps for the distant future. How does this WIP sound? Obviously, changes are coming, so what am I missing? What sounds off? Do you think an instrument needs changi...
Sonic & Knuckles Collection - Ice Cap Zone Act 2 (Re-composed)

In other words, what if the arranger for the Sonic & Knuckles Collection for PC, arranged Brad Buxer's Ice Cap Zone, two? I uploaded a version already, but that was using a soundfont. I decided it didn't sound good enough, so this time I used the official VST plug-in for Sound Canvas instruments. This re-composition was recorded with instruments found on the SC-88. How does it compare? th-cam.c...

Kaloke - A Casual Stroll for the Eyes (YM2612 + SN76489 Original)
มุมมอง 54ปีที่แล้ว
When your eyes deign to stroll through the ocean, take a breath to relieve your heart. I wanted to make an original track with the Genesis sound hardware in mind, so this casual, easygoing melody became the result. It's nothing groundbreaking. I just thought it'd be nice to get something out like this. Particular attention went to the rhythm of the song. The bass, the guitar (which was taken st...
Sonic Advance 2 - Music Plant Act 1 (YM2612 + SN76489 Cover)
มุมมอง 291ปีที่แล้ว
Love this stage! I would be floored to see it return someday. And the music is great! This was another relic from when I was using VGM Music Maker. I haven't quite been able to replicate the snare I used in this (and True Area 53) in Furnace Tracker, which keeps me from doing Advance 2 covers. Importing the instrument directly into Furnace changes the sound drastically, because I think the two ...
Sonic Colors Ultimate - Vs. Nega-Wisp Armor Phase 2 (DS Loop)
มุมมอง 289ปีที่แล้ว
Throwback to a very old vid and a response to a comment I...forgot about until now. To briefly explain, Sonic Colors DS has a much shorter loop for this song than the Wii version. My old vid cut the Wii version to fit the DS loop, and now I'm doing the same for the SCU version. Hope you enjoy! SEGA owns all things Sonic. I am not affiliated with SEGA, nor do I own any of the music in this video.

BumbleKast 2022 but it's Kyle's intros

Enjoy all the times Kyle "JCRB" Crouse responds to Ian's introductions on the BumbleKast (2022)! What are your favorites? Comment below! All of these intros were taken from podcasts in the year 2022. None of the BumbleKast Minis were included, however, since Ian and Kyle immediately go into questions then. While I appreciate Ian Flynn introducing the show and being consistent, his Bumble Ko-hos...
Ape Escape 2 - Battle with Specter! (YM2151+ SegaPCM Cover)
มุมมอง 734ปีที่แล้ว
Ape Escape 2 returns yet again on this channel! Battle epic gorilla-based mechs and capture Specter! My first experience with Ape Escape was 2. I got used to the soundtrack there, not knowing how the first game sounded. It was much later, when my brother got 3, and a friend told me how similar the music was to the original. I grew to really like 1 and 3's music, but I still like the epic sound ...

Can You Do The Mini Boss Theme From Sonic 3?
I remember clicking "Deal" repeatedly just to watch the character's on the cards die.
Always a pleasure to hear this theme it's banger. I got busted up by my bro a few times.☯
banger 🔥🔥🔥
Amazing!
Still a funny classic. I love the glitching clipboard snap and Balala's repeated "no's"
Sounds like ice cap on the gameboy advance, amazing work
Whens the switch port coming out?
heck yeaaaahhh specty decty man
Flying Battery Zone Final Boss
It sounds like a carnival theme.
Hey you! Get him!
1:22 "Ah, Kris. You must have forgot Something... Gamers don't die, THEY RESPAWN!" -a nerd bird
Anagrams.
Articuno from Pokemon enjoys this foreground scene.
Somber.
Oriental Theme.
Should have been what the wii version sounded like from the start
Best loop
oooo this is stinky
I do remember in year 2000 I play with my best friend. Her name is Siti. When I look back this games 2024 I cried coz no one play this anymore.
Note: in spanish dialogue of Pink Monkee she says "Or I'll eat you for dinner!" Instead "do you understand me?"
0:48 confirm. He's is the definition of _GROOMER_ Context: even ingame and in-anime he really loves young boys. And bro... Spike and Satoru have between 9-10 years old 💀
Yoooo, now this is some underrated content, this sounds dope! Thanks, random youtube recommendations lol
Fun stuff, hearing all the "stems" certainly helps break down the composition and is inspiring for pads and melody licks :)
only real gang members end up here
This makes me think 2 things 1. I really don’t like what they did with his nose 2. There’s an awesome rock cover of minute waltz in Donkey Konga 2 for the GameCube
Jane Scolieri is the composer!
Wow, that's outstanding!
that low quality line from the beginning is like those from the flash games, more specifically, strike force heroes... just put the SFH's dialogue bubble on him, and BAM! perfection.
I do NOT remember this being so FARTY. What in the world???
I suck at this game
As a kid, i started on hard mode
sounds really bad genuinely just try again
Hope you make today a good day!
Nice, I like the use of sound effects; I immediately knew this was made using a Roland SoundCanvas as soon as I heard that record scratch!
Good ear! I'm just getting familiar with it.
Very thank you
Much you're welcome
Long before Candy Crash was ever a thing...
could I request a download link? would be fun to use in another remix project (if it's OK with you, of course!)
Why sure! I'll get it to you shortly
Download link for the wav file is in the description. Let me know if that's all you need.
@@KalokesMysteries actually, if it's not too much trouble, could you upload the .vgm file? having the module for your Time Station cover was mega useful for making my own remix (apologies for the inconvenience!)
Oh well, of course! Of course. That's pretty helpful. I'll update the description right now.
@@KalokesMysteries thank you so much!
Summon the Wednesday Kyle
After Dark was funny
funky song, and funky cover nice
So beautiful
Wish they would make another one for like PlayStation or x box
That requires the revival of Berkeley Systems
Finally after at least 5 years I have finally refound one of the best video game OSTs
Sounds like a final boss theme, super underrated YM2612 remix!
I appreciate that! Thanks for checking it out
No problem, I’ve been listening to it a lot for a bit, thanks for making a banger of a cover
This is great, thanks!
No problem, thanks for listening!
Blue Shpere fantasy ;)
