Re: scythe to 1, I believe it’s a hit specifically geared towards the 3v3 events in the ocg, which work similar to Master Duel Worlds (ie the maximum number of copies you can play of a card is shared across each players’ deck). 1 Scythe means that only one of your team members can run the sucky floodgate, which is… better, I guess? It makes marginally more sense in that context, but that’s not saying a lot. Logically if the card is a known problem, you’d think the logical solution would be to ban it, but OCG gonna OCG.

The problem with starry knight based on my extensive 2 times playing the rivalry of warlords version is that it's like a 2 card combo to pop a card once per turn, and also any interaction kills you instantly. The counter trap is funny because it's a normal for some reason and it's the most telegraphed trap of all time.

9:18 Hindsights 20/20 but Dempsy could have searched Spirit here then detached Promoter so it could be revived by Spirit, then used it's effect to get 2 more guys, make them 5, then make Kaiser which outed the Synchro

Iunno why Promoter locks you into exclusively Battlin Boxer. The deck would have way more flexibilty if it just locked u into FIRE Warriors, which a slightly more reasonable archetype would do
