1 thing u should now about this winch. U can only pull like 2 feet max. Than there is no more room on the spindle for the wire. U have to secure it. Take the tention off. Reset it an start your 2 feet again

First of all, learn how to use it, you don’t have to hold the lever down to latch it in manually.trip it over…… you have it on the release side
This is why you should be very cautious taking advice from random people, especially on the internet. Read the manual of whatever you're working on/with. This video isn't one of them, but I've seen a lot of 'how to' videos that are beyond dangerous.
