i bought legacy edition for £4.37, on CDC Keys!!
It's 10,49€ at this moment I don't have the witch queen dungeon key cuz I buy witch queen add with another account & idk why but I don't have the dungeon key for my main account it's weird but even if you buy the legacy collection there's no keys for dungeons so it's NOT recommended for nobody. Period. -
I would disagree that it's not recommended because it doesn't contain the dungeon keys. Is the way that they do the dungeon keys stupid? Yes. Is it still an insanely good deal to pay $10 for a bundle that normally costs $70 and if you bought each expansion individually would run you $145? Also yes, especially for new players. The dungeon keys are cool, but I'd be interested to see the data on what percentage of the community actually even runs the dungeons. Charlemagne has it at roughly 8% so this pack not including the dungeon keys probably doesn't matter to about 90% of players
I couldn't get into this game at first due to the steep learning curve. However, over time I gave it a second chance and once it clicked, I loved it. It is the only soul-like I have been able to get into, including the soul games. Im at the final boss now and I love the game.
I didnt like this one. I didnt like grinding enemies to level up plague weapons. I didnt like re treading the same areas. I felt like the lore was super surface level. The bosses after the first one were underwhelming. If Lies of P is a S tier after finishing from games, mortal shell is a few rungs down, and thymesia another bit down from there
The game is fine and gets better as it progresses. That being said its so far from lies of P its not even close. I did like it more than Thymesia
Rn it’s like 80 for everything on xbox i think
Yep, end of year sales are going on, so it's a good time to pick it all up if anyone has been interested!
so
Oh Unicorn Overlord The great think about this is that why the main battle automatically happened you can set the priorities making strategizing super fun My go to Auto Battler (only one) is TFT, it super easy to learn and very fun with each set come with unique mechanic that could pass on to the next one
Yep, there is a ton of depth to Unicorn Overlord! And I agree, I think that once you learn the basics of TFT, it translates well to other similar games and sets within TFT itself.
there is only teamfight tactics. the other are trash
Everyone has their own tastes, that said, I do like TFT, haha
Autobattler is a sous-genre of strategy games, but it was not created by tft or the dota's one. This was a style of game in browser game (laBrute for exemple) and there was a lot in the multi of Warcraft 3. The genre should be described as a versus game with a planification time and a spectating time, alternating. Those are synchronized with opponent (it's not a "i play - you play - i play"). AB has a lot of potential, outside of the way dota/lol interpreted it
Glad someone mentioned Warcraft 3 and Labrute lol
Ahh thanks! I knew DotA originated in Warcraft 3 but didn't realize there were autobattler mods that far back! Thanks for sharing!
@@magikazam8430 all my childhood
@@YourFNGamers W3's multi opens everyone to share their custom map and people succeded to do a lot more than a str game. Like garry's mod but they were the first
Love the SAP shout! I'll say the newer expansions can get a little out of hand mechanically but the core game is so good and so easy to play on mobile.
For sure! I think it's a great place to start and there's plenty of options to expand it if you're enjoying the game!
one of several examples of Riot > valve in development !
Yeah, it may personal bias as I just like the world and characters of LoL better, but between Underlords and TFT, I prefer TFT and think is feels smoother. It has been awhile since I checked out Underlords though, haha
sadly the survival is super short
Yeah, it's definitely designed more like a roguelike where you keep doing runs to earn upgrades and eventually go for all the bosses in a single run
I"m very new to Elsie and I just unlocked the weapons shop. How do I change weapons? I'm using a Switch and I want to revert back to my base weapons and I dont know how
I've playtested Crown of Greed but with mixed feelings
Interesting! I just looked it up and it does seem like it's trying to be like Majesty. Hopefully they can get some of the rough edges worked out before launch! What parts were giving you mixed feelings?
@YourFNGamers side away bugs, current state of ai and things like tooltips, map. it's fixable. It lacks the coziness of the original game a bit. Also, the hero models. In the original game I could easily see who's who. The models were very distinct. I kne who's got a level raised, who's running away with fear, who's foud a treasure or who's dead now. I think it doesn't have the significance and character of each heroe. and the ui kinda needs some work. But I'm following the project. Wanna see more games like this.
Is this game for online play only?
Yes, while it can be played single-player, the game does require you to be online to play it.
@@YourFNGamers that sucks lol I don't want to pay 80 bucks a year to play one game..lol thanks for your response!!
Yes
Is the music from Obscure Game?
I believe the music used in this video is the song Hitman by Kevin MacLeod
@@YourFNGamers Thanks! I think you are right. I guess it's just similar to the Obscure Soundtrack ^^'
On sale for $10 on steam
So I bought this game over two years ago and gave it a shot earlier today for about an hour and honestly it wasn't clicking with me. And No I couldn't stand Alan Wake Remake didn't finish that one as well
Its 3$ right now
Yep, looks like there are some great deals going on for Black Friday/Cyber Monday/Fall Sale
I felt caught doing dishes while listening to the video🫣
😂
So basically, get the Legacy Collection + The Final Shape + Lightfall + The Witch Queen? Or, The Light & Darkness Collection ( when on sale ofc )
The Legacy Collection comes with all the major expansions through Lightfall, so if you get it, the only big expansion you'd be missing is The Final Shape. The benefit of The Light & Darkness Collection is that it's basically the Legacy Collection + The Final Shape + The Final Shape Season Passes. So if you're a new player looking to get the most bang for your buck, one of these big collections is the way to go, especially on sale where they are usually at least 50% off!
@@YourFNGamers Thanks a lot of clearing it up!
GREAT LIST! LOVED THE PLAGUE TALE SERIES ! AND KENA ! SO DEFINETLY HAVE TO PLAY THE OTHER 3. THANKS !
Glad you enjoyed it!
Hi, if I purchase The Final Shape + Annual Pass, will I need to buy an episode pass separately, or is it included in the annual pass?
Good question! All of the Episode Passes for The Final Shape are included with the Annual Pass in addition to the Dungeon Key which will unlock both dungeons that come out during the expansion.
@@YourFNGamers Thanks!
I don't think we can really call Mad Max underrated or little known at this point. It's on every list like this anywhere. It's a great game but I think it's time to move on from the nearly 10 year old game that basically everyone knows about now.
But have those people played it?
Can anyone tell me if it’s a one use purchase item, or once you buy it, it’s unlock to do as much as you like? Or do you have to buy it again, that’s honestly the real reason I haven’t bought it yet… I’m used to old D1 wear you gotta farm the keys to unlock the chest in PoE 😂 thanks for the tips lmk
It's a one time purchase that unlocks the two dungeons, Duality and Spire of the Watcher. Once you purchase it, you can run them as many times as you like!
@ thanks 🙏🏽
Great list! I need to check out a couple of those games! I think Insurgency Sandstorm is a cool game that I don't hear people talk about a lot.
I haven't played it but I've heard the name before. I'll have to look into it!
?… title to video kinda doesn’t make sense, feels like this should be a video based off of “is it willing to come back to in 2024” not a “what is tribes 2024” lol…? Thought this was gonna cover new stuff etc
I approached it from a new player perspective coming in for the first time since that was my personal experience and the target audience is one that is maybe seeing this game on sale or getting it through PS+ or something and is wondering if it's worth jumping into now or if they should spend their time and money somewhere else. If you have a perspective for returning players who played before all of the updates, please feel free to share!
what does the season pass do if i buy now
If you buy the season pass, you'll get access to the current season called Episode: Revenant which started on October 8th, 2024 and will last until February 8th, 2025. Once the Episode is over, you'll no longer be able to earn the season's battle pass rewards, but you'll still have access to the missions and activities until they go away during the next big content update which I believe will be in June 2025. The Annual Pass is now the only way to access the previous season, Episode: Echoes, now that it is over and will grant you access at least until the next big content update which I believe is in June of 2025. The Annual Pass will also get you access to the current season and next one after that coming in February 2025 along with the 2 dungeons that will be released during the year of The Final Shape release.
Did the 2 of you ever get around to playing Armored Core 6?
I did and I had a good time with it! -Andrew
1:44:35 OMG you are actually braindead. Completely miss the point of games. Resident Evil games would have sold more if they weren't scary by your logic. This was such a waste of time
Art is subjective. If you really enjoyed the game and all of the things it does in the way it does them, congratulations, you're correct! And if we didn't, guess what, we're correct, too! Thanks for listening to almost 2 hours and commenting twice though! Really helps us in the algorithm!
This is such a shallow take on the game. Completely lost you guys when you said prosthetics and special moves aren't useful. None of you guys understand the combat system.
Feel free to leave a link to your podcast where you give your enlightened take on the game. But like we mentioned at 2:30 in the episode, these are our opinions and if you can't handle opinions that differ from yours then maybe this isn't the show for you. Thanks for the engagement though :)
33:25 i would say the reward for exploration is either easier stealth routes or side quests/more minibosses
Yeah, I can definitely see that. I think I was hoping for more equipment like rewards and not just more boss combat that I didn't particularly enjoy, but that's not how the game was made. And that's okay, it's all subjective, so I am glad that it was rewarding to others!
Isnt sugars and confetti basically half the items the rest are either unique rare items(jizo statue) or balloon mostly for farming and the others are crafting material that actually will be used
Yes, from what I remember most of the items are just the consumables with the occasional crafting material or upgrade thrown in.
@@YourFNGamers i think making use of that much items is alr very impressive compared to elden ring theres way more junk there
How would you compare it to a game like Thymesia difficulty and game play wise? Maybe a video to rate all soulslike (not from software) that you have played. Difficulty and game play wise
Something I’ve definitely considered. As far as Thymesia, this game is probably tougher overall but I think Thymesia requires more boss memorization and perfect execution when it comes to combat.
So im a player who left 2 months before lightfall and what does he mean that the stasis dlc is mosly addedffor free?
With the release of The Final Shape, they made the campaign for Beyond Light free for all players and with it, the Stasis subclass. Previously, you needed to own Beyond Light in order to use Stasis, but now everyone can. That does not apply to Strand that came with Lightfall or the Prismatic subclass that comes with The Final Shape, as a purchase of those respective expansions is needed to unlock them.
Do you think MH Wilds will move the needle for people who couldn't get into World or Rise?
I think it will for some since it's a wide release after World got a lot of exposure. But it is also still Monster Hunter, so those that don't vibe with the core loop of the other games will likely bounce off of this one as well. I do think there will be more resources and content creators playing this one which I think will help people get into it!
i dont understand why people keep saying the map is so much bigger, to me it didnt feel all that big, i walked (on foot not on seikret) from i believe area 13 (the dessert with the small oasis) back to base camp, making my way around the border of area 13 and it really didnt feel like it took any more time than crossing the wildspire waste from camp 1 to the spire
Devs said the maps are more than 3 times bigger than World's. No way, serioursly.
Obviously the feeling of a map is subjective, but for me I'll say that the map to me felt more open and the individual zones felt larger than the ones in Monster Hunter World. I also think that the monsters seemed to utilize more of the map in their wandering, and so that helped too, since in World a lot of times it felt like the map was smaller because a particular monster kinda just stayed in a couple of zones. Additionally, as another commenter pointed out, the devs have said the maps are larger, so they've got a more objective measure for it.
@@YourFNGamers while i do agree that if devs say map is larger its obviously larger but if its double as big and you walk double as fast then in essence its still the same size, and the individual zones i do agree feel better used and less seperate from the other zones, but map as a whole just didnt feel really any bigger to me
Yeah, for sure now that we have the Seikrets to ride around the maps, I can see how that would make it feel about the same to some people!
Actually, you have a base-defense in survival, with the Saplings of Yggdrasil. It adds the waves of enemies, in a controlled state
You, add, commas, in, weird, places.
@@ElevenEightNate that's a billingual problem :) when you speak two languages, sometimes you mess up comma placements
Definitely one of the better budget souls likes along side mortal shell and steel rising
I agree! I’ve done videos on both of those games as well.
Good review bro but should i play evill west or darksouls 3or maby even lies of p for a laid back experience
Evil West is the most laid back of those 3 games you mentioned. But all of them are worth playing.
Thought so that's why I put it to download last night Thanks for the reply though
Genuinely helpful review. I've owned this game for around a year, and never got around to playing it. Definitely gonna move it higher up in my backlogged games, since my favorite part of Dark Souls is the combat.
I hope you enjoy it!
Great game if you like fast action combat, just wish the rest of the game was a bit better.
Apakah itu game offline?
I just checked personally with my Xbox and while there is a single-player mode, you do need to be online to access it. I would imagine this is the same across other platforms. Sometimes the Switch will be the exception, but I'm not seeing any articles or indication of that being the case.
@@YourFNGamers terima kasih atas info nya 🤝
@@YourFNGamersdamn...i got that same thing with ylands. Ylands is àn offline game and yet to access it they say i have to log online.
So I bought 30th anniversary pack but I don’t know how to calm or activate it
You shouldn't need to activate it after purchase. I believe all of the stuff that comes from that pack can be accessed in Xur's Treasure Hoard or in the Grasp of Avarice dungeon. There could be some other quests I'm forgetting about that would either be in your quest log or available for pickup at the terminal next to the postmaster in the tower. Hope this helps!
That's quality content right there, you're underrated af
Thanks! Glad you think so!
Any similar game to this one
The game that has given me the closest vibes to Majesty personally is Rimworld, since you're also building a town and can let your pawns do their own thing. I think Dwarf Fortress could be similar, too, but I haven't really given that one a try. If you find one for sure let me know though!
ngl requiring a buyers guide is crazzy, goes to show how confusing the whole thing is. Thanks for the guide
Yeah, it'd be nice if it was much simpler. I think The Legacy Collection helps, but I'd love to see them pivot to just including all the older expansions for free with the purchase of the newest one. That said, for what is essentially an MMO with no subscription, I understand doing it this way, but you're spot on with how confusing that makes it for new players.
What is the light anddark collection for and should I just get the legendary collection if I want the DLC’s?
TL;DR - If you own nothing and want to get everything (EXCEPT THE WITCH QUEEN AND LIGHTFALL DUNGEONS), The Light and Darkness Collection is a good way to do it. If you are unsure if you'll stick with the game, you may want to get The Legacy Collection and just The Final Shape without the Annual Pass and just purchase the Episode Passes for the episodes you're playing during. If you own some expansions already, you'll want to do the math. The Light and Darkness Collection is a new bundle that they released that contains: The Final Shape + Annual Pass ($100), Lightfall ($30), The Witch Queen ($30), 30th Anniversary Pack ($25), Beyond Light Pack ($20), Shadowkeep Pack ($20), and Forsaken Pack ($20). So it's basically the Legacy Collection combined with The Final Shape + Annual Pass. Purchasing everything separately at full price would run you $245 vs $150 if you buy this bundle, so you're definitely saving if you own nothing and want to get everything. You'd also be saving $10 with this bundle vs buying The Legacy Collection and The Final Shape + Annual Pass. If you already own bits a pieces of it, you'll definitely want to look at buying the pieces you're missing separately and determine what's a better bargain (As of October 2024, most of the expansions except for Lightfall and The Final Shape have been on sale for less than $5)
@@YourFNGamers thx
