Mitsubishi ASX Battery Change
มุมมอง 7897 ปีที่แล้ว
Changing the battery, or even checking the distilled water in non-sealed lead acid batteries is unfortunately not that straight forward as a number of items need to be removed before access to the battery is accomplished. Hopefully this video will explain how, and be of assistance to a DIY enthusiast. Please take all safety precautions mechanically, electrically and other before attempting to t...
Crystal Re-Energizer
มุมมอง 317 ปีที่แล้ว
Crystals that are used for pseudo medical and healing purposes and as Good Luck icon eventually lose their ability to perform from loss of energy due to continual exposure to negative energies as well as that fact that they are no longer in their original place of origin. Now Crystals can be re-energized and brought back to their former glory with this amazing piece of equipment

Can't believe how useful this video is, thanks for sharing. I just wonder if the grease doesn't isolate the post?
Pleased the information was of use to you. No, the grease will not isolate the post, it does however prevent corrosion from taking place. When the clamp is tightened up it forms a tight contact with the battery post. The grease then is forced outside of the contact surfaces between the clamp and post and by doing so acts as a seal around the connection, amongst other chemical reactions that prevent corrosive contamination taking place.
Thanks mate!
"an absolute brute force" that was hilarious
Thank you, great video!
Amazing thank you
I hope it helped :-)
thank you for this. This is so helpful for my boyfriend. He would never have figured out the air duct removal if not for your videk. Your video is exactly what youtube needs to be- pure, simple, clear and straight to the point without the cosmetic nonsence.
This way there is no risk of erasing the information from the vehicle module?
No not this model, only the radio code might need to be inserted after changing the battery.
Thankyou
Is there any memory saving procedure I need to do before disconnecting the battery? Anyone? thanks.
Make sure you have the radio code, you might need to re-code the radio after changing the battery, other than that all should be OK
@@HerGuitarTutor ok thanks, I never listen to the radio, I was worried about the car computer memory. 😎👍
Thanks!
That Chinese metal you speak of is called chinesium
Thanks heaps helped very much !!
I'm glad it was of help 🙂
Rwally no need to remaove the air intake that way. Unhook the clips by the filter and it will wiggle loose.
Indeed you are quite correct Linus, even removing the cowlings etc. is unnecessary, however this gives folks to opportunity to see how to do that if they should need to. Thanks for your input.
Legend thanks!!
Time to change here, thanks !
Thanks so much for the tip!!! I was concenrned about that but you helped me so much
Obrigado!
That is how workshop guys do it in Brisbane Queensland Australia! I swear most of those guys are dipsticks! When I first bought my Toyota hilux and because of warranty I took it to Toyota and about 300 dollars for a service ( which I saw was oil change, filter. Test on everything. Came up good. One bulb replaced but in my head I thought I wonder if they touched the bulb? Sure enough still burnt out. After that I did my own oil change and filter every 5000 km.even though Toyota recommend 10000 km.perfect compression at 28000 km. But like you, I took the filter off but man was I heaving like a rhino! Cheers
Thanks, i change my ASx's batter so quickly.
Thanks. mate
Thank you for the video, seems a bit of a hassle to have to remove the air intake though
Your camera work is the absolute worst and this video shows nothing because you can’t operate a camera
Well, at least I clean my toe nails before shooting a video clip !!
@@HerGuitarTutor What?
Thank you
What’s the tool he uses to get the clips out?
I just used an old pair of side cutters (electrical tool). I suppose you could use two flat screw drivers to wedge either side of the clip's centre piece, the one that pulls out, just be careful not to stab yourself with one of the screwdrivers if it slips!!!
@@HerGuitarTutor i learned theres actually a tool called snap ring pliers you can buy for this specific job haha
@@rickjames3562 thanks, I never knew that. I see Banggood has them for around $10, useful to have I think I'll get one 😁
Very well explained, helped a lot. Thank you!
Thank you, glad it helped :-)

Really helped me. Thanks a lot brother! Never cared about learning stuff like this until the wuhan virus lockdown.
I'm glad it helped!
Where is the power oils tank location
If you mean power steering, it does not have one. The steering is electric.
Hi! That‘s a great video! Helps me very much. Best regards from Austria :)
Pleasure - glad it helped :-)
Great and explicit video! Thank you! One aspect i wish to comment.....if your ASX have Start-Stop and breaking energy recuperation you should install an AGM type battery. A regular battery will be not enough
Thanks for that info - good to know!
Thanks for the video! Just changed my battery no problems thanks to this
My air duct clips are also stuck. How the hell did you break them loose?
Remove the centre section of the clip. The centre piece expands the section around it to keep it in position.
I use my middle finger to apply lube for one specific and special purpose only. My wife will get mad if I use the same finger on others.
"... shouldn't take more than an hour or less" Can't take more than an hour and can't take less than an hour, so you mean it should take exactly an hour?
:-) :-) :-)
Thanks
Guys do you have any idea what is the brand of orginal batttery which is old one in the video
Useful but the vehicle is not user friendly at all. Changing a battery should be done in less that 20min. Good job to the nameless engineer who designed that.
Seriously!!?? It's not like you have to change it every week!! Edit: Job done 12min start to finish
after watched this video , I can done this 3 mins.
do you know ML and Audi Q7 battery are under driver seat, and they are big AGM battery, over A$1200 each.
Thank you! Very useful video!!!
Puede ba replacement ang Motolite 1SMF?
Thank you. Very useful material.
Thanks !!! what is the battery replacement for that model you have just bought ? Thanks as there's no possibility to get the exact references.
