Camping In Japan, But We Can't Stop Fighting
มุมมอง 262ปีที่แล้ว
Mariko and I have returned to one of our favourite FREE campgrounds in Hiroshima prefecture. It's a bit of a sentimental place for us. However, this time around was different. In the days leading up to this weekend, we were already well into a solid 48 hour bender of fighting and arguing with eachother. Fighting with your spouse can feel like torture, but it's only because ya love each other. A...

Getting drunk at a free campsite in Hiroshima, Japan.

Well, this weekend didn't quite turn out as planned. However, we still made the most of it! We had our sights set on a nice campground just north of Hiroshima. But upon arrival we were told the campground wasn't open yet due to flooding. After some quick thinking we found a nice little free campground just off the highway. It was all we could have asked for in the moment. Other than the nearby ...

No reservation necessary, we set up the grill and made burgers from scratch right on the beach. For more camping/cooking videos check out the links below. Thanks! Conveyor belt sushi in Hiroshima - Honest review!

I'm not generally a picky eater by any means. I usually love sushi and sashimi and I'll try anything at least once. However I didn't really have the stomach for it on this particular day.😅 Sushiro is a conveyor belt sushi restaurant chain in Japan. Usually it's amazing but for whatever reason I just wasn't feeling it! Mariko however was all in... Links to more travel food related content below,...
Living Off of Vending Machines - Hiroshima Japan
มุมมอง 245ปีที่แล้ว
Hey friends. In this weeks video Mariko and I attempted to subsist on nothing but vending machine food and drink for a full day. We did very little research on the locations as we set out on foot, but luckily Japan is known for having a plethora of interesting vending machines to choose from. Will we make it to the end of the day, or will we cave and go to the supermarket? Thanks for watching! ...

Wow 😆👍
I'm so sad to see you cry Mariko. The food was really healthy and good! You did a great job. Both you and Coco chan are so beautiful too!! and Mack was SO happy to finally get to take you both home!!!
Thank you for watching! It was great that I could stay at hospital for a week but I missed Mack so bad…Now It’s nice to look back Coco’s first week.
@@mack_mariko_adventures yes, of course...and I have spoke to many young mom here and was surprised that most of them were very happy to go home in 1-3 days - I was surprised...but I understand how lonely that must have been. - many hugs
Darling baby
Someone is an amazing cook❤

Congrats! My (Japanese) wife and I are expecting our first in a couple of months and moving to Japan shortly after. We enjoyed this video of you both going into parenthood! 😊
Congratulations! Japan is very convenient and safe. It's a great place to be with your baby <3
My wife (Japanese) and I (Canadian) live in Canada but we want to apply for spousal visa. We got married in Japan and I lived there for nearly 10 years before. Our marriage was registered in Japan but right now we don't work in Japan (because we're in Canada) but we both have around $100000CAD saved up. Do you think we could get a spousal visa? We also have a baby.
I am pretty positive that you can get a spousal visa. But you have to ask one of your wife's family to help you. Her family member has to go to immigration office for submitting your documents as your wife isn't in Japan.
you ve been married and lived in japan and asking that question ?
@@wpn-k8d Yes. Are you having trouble reading? Also, why are you typing without punctuation?
She is absolutely beautiful! Congratulations to all three of you ❤️ 👼
Thank you so much!
I received my COE, could you let help me out with the visa application and requirements as, the requirement in the site is very general. Sorry and congrats.
Congrats for your COE! How can I help you?
@@mack_mariko_adventures got my visa as well. But it's single entry. Does that mean I have get the visa again if I have to go out of japan.
That's great! How long is your visa?
@@RahulRajShah1 you have one single entry which 1 or 3 years but doesnt matter it would be canceled at the airport and you get new visas and extensions in immigration office as you live in japan ..if you become permanent resident you dont need anything but re-entry permits,, you must have been thru something because you have fears ..
do you need to show bank statements to apply for the spouse visa?
I remember that's not necessary. But we submitted it!
@@mack_mariko_adventures Okay thanks because some idiot was being really rude to me and saying that I'll get rejected for not showing bank statements and having sufficient funds for spouse visa.
if my japanese spouse is not working but i am, can we still apply for spouse visa?
Yes, you can! But if it's not enough income to support living in Japan, it must be better to add bank statement to show your savings or name of family member who will help you financially.
Having baby next to bed makes life so much easier!! My little Bub just hit 3 months. Cosleeping helps me get 8+ hours in a night! So good!!
I love watching her and holding her hand while she is sleeping. I can't wait for the day when I can sleep for 8 hours!
Muchas felicidades
Muchas gracias!
OMG my grandbaby in there!! What a beautiful video!!! Thank you so much for making this Mariko!!
We're happy you enjoyed it!
How many months its coming?? And if embassy said more documents and submit already how many months required??
It took around 3 months from the time we applied to the time we received the document. Luckily the government didn't request any additional information from us because the information we submitted was sufficient. If they had requested more information it's hard to say exactly how much extra time it would take. Every case is unique! All you can do is be as diligent as possible while filling out forms and everything should work out over time.
In the video it says that the CoE was received in a month, is that correct or is it three months? Thank you!!!
You’re making me hungry at 2:00am for shrimp tacos at Pescadito. I live a block away!
I'm so jealous! One of our favorites in Mexico!
I camped in the same place. was very nice
Nice! I am glad that we found this spot!!
love it!!
That's so cool Mack, sounds like nothing but good times over in Japan
Thanks Dave! We have our ups and downs just like anyone else but generally life is pretty good. Hope you're doing well too!
ps...be careful with that axe...and enjoy the fires..can't do that over here in Canada right now...
your mama taught you how to make a good fire...nice work..and yes..cedar makes the best kindling...or very soft pine love you guys
I thinks actually these barbacoa tacos are much better than tacos al pastor, but the people no eat them so frequently because are more expensive.
We are so happy that we tried authentic Mexican cuisine that local loves!
those tacos looks amazing, if one day I have opportunity I Will try

always gonna be first in the comments wooooo!! keep at it you two <3

Wooooow we miss you guys, we loved this video we need to visit Japan
This video is amazing!!! 😍😍
We miss you guys too!!! We love you <3 We will meet again in the future.
Siiii! Big hug
hi, why didn't u fly from Narita to Hiroshima? I think the shinkansen is a lot more expensive n time consuming
Hey, that’s true! However there was no connecting flight from Tokyo to Hiroshima on the date we chose for me to come to Japan. Besides, I think the Shinkansen is more fun 🤩. Thanks for the comment!
Average day you made how much money. And the best days $$
Hey, thanks for the comment. Hope you don't mind the spiel. This is Mack responding. I have cherry picked a few times, maybe on 6 or 7 different farms over the span of 4 seasons. How much you make varies quite a lot depending on the farm location, the weather, the yield, the pay, etc. Cherry picking is called "piece work", meaning you are paid for how much you pick. Some farms calculate this by the number of buckets you pick, some more accurately pay by the pound. As a slightly below average picker myself, there was a time when I could make between $150 - $200 CAD per day. However, this season was particularily bad for both Mariko and I. On a good day we were only pulling in around $160 between the both of us. A fast picker in optimal conditions could make anywhere between $300 and $500 a day, but these people usually get fired for being too rough with the trees. Farmers don't like to see stems, twigs, leaves or other debris mixed in with your cherries. Additionally, post-covid, everything has become more expensive as well, making it harder and harder to earn money picking cherries. However! It's really more about the experience. It is a very fun way to spend your summer. Swimming in the lake and making new friends is what it's all about. Sorry for the spiel, but cherry picking has earned a huge place in my heart so I love talking about it. 😅
@@mack_mariko_adventures cool tank i go !

Wow! You must know the place!
I ate at El Pescadito in Centro Historic. It was the worst meal in Mexico. The tortillas were cold. The fish was cold. The fish is 90% batter. You taste dough but no fish! Gross! 🤢
Aw! I agree with fried fish tacos! But the chili and shrimp one was so good!
