The Fray performing 'Little House' at the carling academy on 26th october 07 ( sorry about the quality )
Isaac has such a beautiful voice. The vocal equivalent of what velvet feels like.
Those who like this better than the oroginal must be 12 or 18 years old lol without REM these guys wouldn't have a cover. Plus Michael Stipe is Michael Stipe! Lol. The movie man on the moon was just a great movie, & soundtrack. I will it give to the Fray they did it justice both are great!
I like it a lot but it sounds very typical 2000's to me... Still a very good cover!
My all time favourite cover ❤️
I've watched the stars fall silent from your eyes All the sights that I have seen I can't believe that I believed I wished That you could see There's a new planet in the solar system There is nothing up my sleeve I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there Over my shoulder a piano falls Crashing to the ground And all this talk of time Talk is fine And I don't want to stay around Why can't we pantomime, just close our eyes And sleep sweet dreams Being here with wings on our feet I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there Over my shoulder a piano falls Crashing to the ground I'm breaking through I'm bending spoons I'm keeping flowers in full bloom I'm looking for answers from the great beyond I want the hummingbirds, the dancing bears Sweetest dreams of you Look into the stars Look into the moon I'm pushing an elephant up the stairs I'm tossing up punchlines that were never there Over my shoulder a piano falls Crashing to the ground I'm breaking through I'm bending spoons I'm keeping flowers in full bloom I'm looking for answers from the great beyond I'm breaking through I'm bending spoons I'm keeping flowers in full bloom I'm looking for answers from the great Answers from the great Answers... im sitting and watch this day fall down from the sky. i got pot. i got my beatnik literature and my beatnik band and somehow always when i look intently at the music video by R.E.M. what a beautiful chance we all were given, to for a fraction of nada look into the stars, look into the moon and go ‘yes, this will work a little bit longer’

Super great cover for a super difficult song . Great job here
<3
Never easy remake an R.E.M. song, too many colors in their art...but this version sounds very good.
I actually kind of like this version, its not just a load of rubbish there is an aspect of talent there. The vocals are really good and the sound quality is just perfect. Really good job 👍🏼
Oh come on, guys, so what if The Fray made this cover, I still like it equally as the original version! Didn't know they played this one, though. Nice one!
this is terrible

I like Isaac's voice, but thats pretty much it.
It's certainly different, I'll give it that. The weird thing is, I think Isaac really nailed the chorus, but was weak on the verses. All in all I liked it, but given that this is one of REM's great songs (possibly top 5, definitely top 10), the original is better. Still, I'm happy that I got to hear this version.
Did the original justice.
oh how it was to how it is now
😊😊😊💜💜💜💜💜
A brilliant and heartfelt tribute
Amazing
Great cover of my favourite song !
Very different, but good. It just doesn't have that ethereal quality of the original, but not a hatchet job. One thing- somebody way back said that they had never heard an REM song. Crap, in addition to what I listen to at home, car, etc., I hear them every time I go into a CVS or Walgreens pharmacy. Half a World Away was playing just the other day in CVS and I started singing right along, much to the chagrin of the old folks who probably thought I was certifiable. I'm not sure REM should be in the Muzak category, but it was much better than an acoustical version of some Carpenters ballad!
F-
I've always loved this guys voice but the truth is, although this isn't dreadful, it doesn't compete with R.E.M who are just so well suited to the song anyway!
I love you guys and this song rocks!!!!
Do You Suck At Love ..!
This cover has potential to be good. It just falls short in my opinion.
does anyone else think this guy sounds like the male version of Adele
actually not that bad
Temon
Not as good as R.E.M. It's a decent cover but not very original...
So bad...
incoherent? as in it's a bad thing? The beauty of r.e.m's music is Micheal's barely understandable whines.... this is far better than I expected, but it's not r.e.m..
let's just assume that REM is probably the best band ever, and this becomes pretty... acceptable
I thought they'd ruin this beauty of a song! but not bad at all. :)
I like the Fray but REMs is so much better.
i love the way he pronounces things, he jsut says things differently, and I like it!
i know lot of people disagee, but i prefer this cover the original although i do like rem
@MzZeRoCoOl One's singing ability does not interfere with their judgement.
to people who click dislikes..tell me one thing ! can you sing like he does ?
Star ontop indeef
Indeed I mean
the song is epic and I like either the versions...
The singer isn't doing the vowels right. For whatever reason that really gets on my nerves.
the fray are at the best ok but when anyone sings this it sounds good you can't go rong
Oh bad..The Fray are not good at the REM....
better than the original!!! :P
its pretty good... but still prefer R.E.M, sorry fray
His voice sounds strange,as if it was autotuned or something :S
Very very good, considering that R.E.M. s original is an epic production. I don t think anyone can make a better cover than the Fray, honestly.
This song is my favorite from R.E.M., I mean neither loosing my religion is so good like this. This cover is good, but I kind of like better Mike voice, but this is good though.
