I mean Stephan Schwartz (orginal songwriter of the Wicked stage show) was the one that added the extra bit in One Short Day, and I’m pretty sure Jonathan Bailey (movie Fiyero) already mentioned in an interview that Schwartz also wrote the two new songs. Overall, they have mentioned several times working with the original composer and book writer of the stage show, and I think even the author of the Wicked novel was somewhat involved. So any changes or additions, whether we like them or not, were probably more or less signed off by the original creators of the stage show.

But, Ariana does have a background in broadway.

Honestly being a fan of the show and bejng tired of not being able to like it at all im any plataform, this video is a breath of fresh air

Honestly, as someone who isn’t a theater nerd and never saw the original musical, I've actually been very interested in this movie. All the stuff I've heard and seen looks very intriguing, and I'll definitely have to give it a watch sometime soon!

Honestly, I’d take “For Good” well over “Popular.” Hell, I’d take “For Good” over pretty much any song in the first act, except “Defying Gravity.” “For Good” has 1000x the emotional weight of “popular” And “As Long as You’re Mine” is actually hella good lol. Also, Cynthia is gonna sing the hell out of “No Good Deed!” The art is, of course, ADORABLE

I really love how the drawing turned out. It looks very pretty! one helpful piece of advice i've heard is if you aren't a huge fan of background design but are really into character design was from a Lavendertowne video were she suggested that instead of treating a background like a separate thing, you should treat it like designing a character I've found it to be pretty helpful and has actually made designing backgrounds much more fun

7:19 Stephan Schwartz the original composer is in fact working on the film with Jon Chu he also appears in a cameo in the film during one short day so expect those new songs to be just as good.

It's quite fascinating how during the late 90s, the original plan for Wicked was to be a live-action feature. But then, Stephen Schwartz suggested it would work better as a Broadway musical. 26 years later, we came full circle!! Love the drawing too. 💖💖💖

I am very thankful that you fixed Alastors horrible Bob. thank you for your service! All designs are wonderful, with only Angel dust slightly lacking. He doesnt have that behind part on purpose! He is based on a "jumping spider", which cannot produce webs, so he is quite smaller than a regular one! He does also wear an accessory to match the typical spider as one of his outfits in the Poison Music video!! ALso, a major thing about him is his feet. You gave him a bit more spider like boots, to match his aesthetic which I 100% get but it was stated in one of the Livestreams that Angel is actually insecure and really dislikes his spider legs, that's why he wears more human like heels/boots! to hide them. By giving him more Spider like ones, it kinda changes his personality in a way too. Everything else is perfect! You have an amazing artstyle, coming from an artist myself! I really hope you'll do The vees or Angels/Seraphs too, I'd love to see your take on their designs
