Paddy was able to get on with his life without turning to drink or drugs because he was able to get rid of the anger and hatred that other wrongfully imprisoned people still have inside them. I am sure its not an easy thing and while people who are and were wronged by the system have every right to be and remain angry it really is true that your life will never get better or happier in any sense until you are able to put the past behind you and get rid of the anger and hatred you once had inside you. I wish him nothing but the very best.

“Just a political story… just the same story everyone knows” well im glad she can think of the lives of 4 young people being ripped from them for no reason as “just a political story” because i sure as hell cant

Met Paddy and Caroline many years ago in Clontarf. Had a couple of pints after work. What I remember is his strong Belfast accent and him being a gentleman. Stumbled across this video...lovely to see they both went on and had children.
