We got through a beach section in our standard delica that 2 highly modded safaris had to winch off👌

We loved Fraser when we went the other year. 99% of people bogged at Ngkala is because they have their tyre pressure too high. At least you didn't have a masive audience when you went through!

Do you have any creaking noises you can hear?

How is the Castrol Diesel oil? Did it sound quieter with it? Will you change at 5k or 10k?

Hiya, the rear bolts, all L400's have the same bolts/captive nut, but because of the way they're attached there the captive nuts can get munted (technical term) by impacts on the original bashplates. Either the nut is damaged, or cross threaded, or come off completely and then you'll need to get fiddly with a nut and washer inside that crossmember. Well done, you glossed over that but its a right pita getting that nut on top of the bolt. Especially without smacking yourself in the noggin with the bashplate ;-) Awesome video, can't believe its the first time I've come across it, but its awesome.

This was a great maintenance video. I've never owned a diesel or a 4x4, but I'm currently shopping for a L400 so I'd love any additional ownership maintained videos like this.

Hi, what is that gauge that reads Delica and then shows number 1? Any idea where to get one?

My tip is to fill the new oil filter with fresh oil before putting it on giving the oil pump a faster supply on first start lowering risk of a dry start!
