Thank you for this upload. I was never much of a Yazoo fan, I only knew the singles, and while I love "Nobody'd Diary" and "Only You", I never felt the need to check out the albums. I changed this after watching this great documentary, and boy, am I a glad I did. Both albums are full of great songs, arguably better and more even than the early DM albums. And I totally enjoyed listening to Alison and Vince, very nice and intelligent people. I always assumed that Alison had been the voice and Vince the musical mastermind, but that's not the case at all. Vince didn't even have any ego problems with the only single off the second album being Alison's song, he actually pushed for its release and didn't care for any of his songs being released after that because he had already moved on, I guess. Now my big regret is to have missed the reunion tour, but I got the live album, and the live versions are absolutely excellent.

This was the 1st time we ever really got to see how funny and sarcastic the lads really are. In the day of newspapers, mags and short clips on MTV, the media always portrayed U2 as earnest, black and white guys. This doc and Rattle and Hum really made me (and many others) fall in love with the band. And, it prepared us in a way for Achtung thru Pop!!

I was at this show. It was a great night. If you were there, up in the front (behind the two rows sectioned off for media), there's a great chance that you heard me. 😂
