Was it your interest or necessary to do nutrition and zoology before dvm ????
Hi! In North America, you have to complete at least your second year of an undergraduate degree before applying to vet school, so I chose zoology. Nutrition is just my interest. :> But I ended up choosing a UK vet school (where you can go to vet school after high school), so in this case, it's not necessary to have a first degree~

@@fatimakhdj I do work experience for school. This is where instead of going to classes, I need to go to a vet clinic for expierience which also counts for my grade so I don't need a certificate for this as it is just to learn. I also don't get payed but I do just work as a full time assistent. I will be doing this for 2 months and if I do good I will pass for my year!
@@fatimakhdji think it depends on the place. i work at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility and we have a vet as well and i may be going on our vet side to be an assistant and they said i dont need any schooling or experience and i think ill earn a certificate or something as i work? im not entirely sure

Hello! It's mainly because of the cost. RVC is too expensive for me (£36800). Edinburgh Vet School has fixed tuition (£34200).

Hellooo! In Canada, I think only vets can administer vaccines~
In the US, assistants can do blood draws, give vaccines, SQ fluids, etc if approved by the vet

Hello, if you want to apply to the vet program in Edinburgh, you could either apply to the 5-year program after high school or the 4-year graduate entry program after you complete your first degree.
