Medic Ambulance: Sac Republic FC Youth Clinic at Sylvan Middle School
We had a fantastic time last week at Sylvan Middle School for the Sac Republic FC Youth Soccer Clinic! ⚽ The kids showed off their soccer skills on Mission Tiger Court and got a behind-the-scenes look at our ambulance 🚑. We also taught them hands-only CPR, hoping to spark a passion for emergency medical services. Big thanks to Sac Republic FC for helping promote active lifestyles and youth sports in our community!💪

Medic Ambulance Career Day with The Leven in Suisun City
How does this work on a patient with large breast?
Many patients are too large to fit, in which case we just have to revert to regular CPR
If you have a cardiac arrest you’re too fat or old a large majority of the time
There’s also something called the auto pulse Which can fit larger patients but it’s an entirely different brand and Lucas is much more prominent
Yeah but the idea of the autopulse is to factor recovery time, which the lucas doesn't. Plus some of the newer autopulse devices also have a built in stretcher, regardless the lucas is also a good device@@JakeDavis-t4w
@@JakeDavis-t4w poppycock. I'm a doctor in emergency medicine in the United Kingdom, (MBChB, FRCEM, PHEMCC) and I spend my off days working on the air ambulance and physician response unit. The LUCAS device is NOT restricted by weight it is restricted by chest width. So whoever has given you this information is factually wrong. You can even check the manufacturers website and see that it is not restricted by weight but as I have already mentioned, chest width😂.
Job well done Ashley 👍
Nice!
We need one of these for the Sonoma county division
Wow 😊
Hi 👋🏻
ift isn’t a true emt get into 911 😭😭😭😭😭
IFT is still EMS it's just what brings the money in I guess... Sometimes you have to work a BLS unit which is primarily IFT but also 911 before you get cleared to work in an ALS ambulance, or that's just the way their staffing works or scheduling for the rigs.
Charlee I wish you all the best in your career, and Medic School its a long road but absolutely worth it in the end.
My man!! you're doing so well! Medic and I am so luck to have you around! You always have a great attitude and very friendly.
lol, they both married with 3 kids now

Can't wait to see a video on the partnership with Sonoma county fire
All of this and yet EMTs are paid literally minimum wage. What a trash video
We don’t do it for the money but I agree.
Dope!!💪
I'm wondering why you all aren't wearing your National Registry Patches ?
I know this comment was a year ago, but it’s not mandatory to wear the national registry, you can if you want to but not everyone will do it haha.
Good luck bro keep going on strong! I just became an EMT too hope to be firefighter/Paramedic too wish nothing but the best for you and positive energy!

Anybody else wondering, why there´s no Headrest on the Driverseat?!
Because private ambulances are cheap, and greedy
@@williams.7572 Unless my eyes are off, she's driving a Mercedes. Check the steering wheel... So that eliminates "cheap". Doesn't answer your question though. Private companies are greedy... I'm a former EMT Intermediate during the 1980s and Military Board Qualified Medic in the 90s. In '95 my mother needed EMS and I followed in my car. The ambo crew tried to invent extra billable "services" - specifically for an IV that they never started and EKG they didn't take. They weren't counting on a family member who was Registered before they were in puberty... When I confronted them and wrote my Natl Reg # on their run sheet they damn near wet themselves. I only hope they learned a lesson from that. I'd love to see American EMS become more like the UK and Australia.
This is a beautiful thing! Thank you to everyone involved, who made this happen.
Damn she cute lol
