Just reading and viewing this video now. Very sad to learn of the passing of Peter Hood - the great drummer in the Atlantics. I bought all the 3 of the early surf albums and the music was great. A real part of the Musical History of Australia. Thank You Peter.

Jim and his younger brother Sam used to live just down the road from me in Randwick, Sydney.

The Alantics were a great "surf-sound" band who were all accomplished musicians. Sad to read of Peter's death.

So sad to hear the news. I used to know Peter 20 years ago through his daughter in law. At the time I did not know I was in the company of Australian rock royalty. Vale Peter. He was a thorough gentlman and will be greatly missed.
