Ooooh business major… now I get it!

I picked up yoyoing a few months ago and have learned a ton from Andre's videos. I got to meet him at the National Yoyo contest a week ago! Very cool guy.

First thing I wonder about is why there's no comments here,OK What I'm about to say might be Relatable to some of you. People in Massachusetts,, mass health is part of medicaid, it is medicaid under the state supervision, i am a senior of 68 years old , anyway, they want us to qualify. Medicaid medicaid is a federal program. If I'm not mistaken and then they just called it mass health, because they're gonna be the gatekeepers of who they're gonna give it to. And when and where, I asked myself, should it? be this way? And when you do this to seniors all over the country. Through every state, They seem to be able to . Figure out our financial status real. Easy so why are they requiring us to send all kinds of account numbers and bank copies of this that? then other a copies of everything that we do when they already supposedly know. Then if you make a mistake on it, they threaten to take legal action on you calling it fraud. You know, older people can make mistakes don't treat us like criminals. I've lived in Massachusetts forever and a day. Meaning our whole life, . I should have qualified at 65 years old. And It should have been automatic that they would help me. No matter what, Yeah, okay. But don't require us to have a certain amount of money in the bank and all of a sudden stuff. Like you're gonna take it or property Can we work for a whole lives. It's not right. It's morally wrong to do this. To Seniors you can tell, I'm stressed just thinking about this anyway. . right now my premiums. Are ridiculous through medicare, but you know I? . And I'm not gonna go through Paperwork running around all over the place, trying to figure out. Things that they already know. Just so they can tell me they want more paperwork. Because I Have been talking to people. Younger people older people and they all telling me the same thing. Mass health is making us qualify for something. How about this? I'm alive. I'm 68 years old or 65 if I was 65. Let's say. I'm alive an breathing. I need help if I'm retired. I need help. Ask us basic questions. You got the verification and then your going to take us to court or something for fraud if we make a mistake. Anyway, I don't want nothing to do with Mass health. I can tell you that right now Having a government program and let the state dictate what they're gonna do to massachusetts citizens How much pain they're going to inflict on us not to mention the stress they caused, Like we really need more stress. Financial stress because when you're retired, you already got enough stress. Just buying food. . Put gatekeepers like this and they're gonna. Do everything in their power. Cause you're giving people power to shouldn't have it. To keep us off the ranks of mass health. What good is a program , Government federal program. If you can't get it or if they make it so hard. You have to jump through hoops every other second. It's not worth not to me anyway.

So cool to see him be successful. While the yo-yo world has got more complex, he’s still recognized as one of the greatest in the community. Certainly one of, if not the, most helpful. I’m glad to see him still throwing and I’m glad to see him do well. I’ve seen his old videos probably a thousand times and he is the one that got me past sleepers and walking the dog

Yeah dude! Searched up Andre's name to see how he's been, got the best answer haha Us 90's/00's kids owe a lot to this guy. His yoyo's and contributions to the community were legendary. Many great memories as a kid learning tricks on his website and I didn't stop until I mastered every last one.(Seriously how isn't the over the shoulder camera angle still not the norm??) If it weren't for him I probably wouldn't have stuck with this hobby like I have. One of the most forward thinking people in the yoyoing community, I can't thank him enough!
