BEWARE OF THE JUNE SLUDGE (MONSANTO ROUNDUP AND FERTILIZER RUN OFF) THAT TURNS THE WATER INTO GREEN SEWAGE AND DEAD FISH EVERYWHERE!! USUALLY JUNE THROUGH AUGUST AND IT IS NOT "GOOD" FOR THE BEACHES THEY ARE LYING THROUGH THEIR TEETH!!! OUR VACATION WAS RUINED BY THIS CRAP AND FT WALTON OKALOOSA ISLAND IS THE WORST FOR IT!!! THEY WON"T CLEAN THEIR BEACHES EITHER. I THINK OKALOOSA ISLAND IS BEING RAN BY PSYCHOPATHS!! THE OTHER BEACHES WILL CLEAN THEM!! THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE AND THEY WON"T WARN YOU AND YOU END UP WASTING BIG MONEY TO STAY ON A BEACH AND LOOK AT GREEN SLUDGE AND SMELL DEAD FISH. Realtor in Ga. we booked a week at the Summit room 316 private owners we booked over a month ago our confirmation was sent four times we showed up and the owner's grandson with two are three girls were in the condo and refused to leave told us it was our problem and the management company was just as bad. They found us a room for two days and then they hoped the summit would have something available! We were here for our birthdays and Mother's day with 12 couples. Emerald Coast was the company we booked through. I will contact the owners and let them know how we feel, but my advice is to stay away from the Summit.
