Shows making a backup using thinmanager 14. Earlier version are the same process but the buttons look different. The steps are: 1.) Goto the ribbon bar “Manage” 2.) Click Backup 3.) Name the file and select location the click save 4.) Type in password to database or leave blank then click okay.
Why does the thin client immediately boot to a authenticate device screen?

ThinManager 14 has a new feature for authenticating devices and this is on by default. If you would like to turn this off it is done by going to thinmanager - right-click on thinmanager server then modify - next - next - uncheck “Enable Device Authentication”. This setting takes effect immediately on the server but the thin client needs reboot.

So at least Dell was more thoughtful than HP - the base i5 spec Elitebook 8770W which was the same gen as the M6700 had only 2 RAM slots, the other 2 slots were simply not soldered...so if you had the base model motherboard, tough luck. It also looks like with the M6700 you can easily remove the CPU heatsink without removing GPU one, I haven't managed to do it on my 8770W.
Another tip. If you are having a problem importing the windows into the new app then go back to the old app and export them to an empty folder.
What processor did you install and what is the maximum supported?

Hi, i have 3 VFDs currently working with same assembly instances for input and ouputs, the only issue i have is when it comes to using the FBA Data In & FBA Data Out for custom parameters, i want to use those to have some valuable information on the PLC such as voltage and current consumption, but once i select the parameters and after aplying settings to the module, nothing happens, the Data.Custom_Input_## tags on the PLC does not show anything :(, is there anything i'm missing or that i should double check? )

As the screen where you chose from available display clients only happens once. How do you configure a different display client to run in the future? Let's say a different display client on a different ThinManager Server?
