Inventory up, prices flat or dropping, properties taking longer to sell, a bunch of brand new developments about to come on the market, huge increase in condo fees and assessment, etc. It sounds more like you are describing the beginning of a housing market collapse. Who the heck would want to buy a condo right now at peak price right before a market correction?

I grew up there my first 27 years? So what Im not sure about now is the neighborhoods that considered Bad? To me the worst at that time was, Brownsville & Liberty City areas? I've read Miami Gardens is bad now..which it wasn't back then? Having the money, my choices are Coral Gables & Coconut Grove. My thing is lush green vegetation!🌱 If I were to take a pick and was Middle class, my choice is Kendall.

I should have listened to my Dad that said, Miami is the best City in the US?

I'm moving back home to Miami for that same reason? The climate and the vibe once living here in Las Vegas is just not good as it was in the first 15 yrs years. It's very boring, plus you have to force yourself to find beauty in a Desert?🌵 Which you can't compare to living by the Ocean, ever? I'm going back to my roots😏

Great points! We're moving in from Phoenix and will deeply miss the mountains and hiking. But the quality of life sure is enticing!

Miami is not the only city in southeast FL. I started in Miami area but there are more affordable places as I migrate more and more north over the last 12 years. I am ready to move even up to space coast for more affordable housing, better active lifestyle and more green space.

The issue with Miami in general is that most salaries do not compare to those of other big cities like NY, LA, and Chicago for example. Take that with massive inflation and its made Miami insanely expensive. A salary of 90k per year is pretty much a minimum if you plan to live alone in Miami.

The biggest scare about Miami is hurricanes, floods, home owner's insurance, floods insurance..... The best part about Miami is, No State Tax, its people...Latino people are so Nice and simpatic...look at Stefania's Smile 😁😊😊
