Hi! I have been watching your videos for a while, they are always great fun and a learn quite a lot from them. I am considering to buy a Tandem Island or an Adventure Island to sail it here in Brazil. Wich one of them do you consider more seaworthy? One thing however worries me about these boats. I have seen many many videos that report rudder failure or akka bar breaks. Can't this be really dangerous to be caught out in the sea without a rudder or an akka bar? How easy is it do repair the rudder on site or even on the sea? If it wasn't for its rudder an akka breaking every now and than i believe i would already have bought one of these boats. Thank you for your advice, I consider it of great importance, as an experienced owner and user.

I was so impressed by Jim, He was so much fun to talk to. So interesting and encouraging. At CP2 we talked briefly and as we were parting, him to WW and us to the outside he said "See you at the finish." I said something like "well I hope so, we'll see." He said, with great confidence, "you'll make it." It was tremendously uplifting. I felt like I had gotten such a huge confidence booster, and I had. Jim was great fun to meet and see in action. that's us at 7:44, Zerothehero and GreenmountainGal. Sorry we weren't more chatty but we were by the lee a lot that day and had a few crash gybes so we were focused on wind angle and police boats! We go mixed up in a few bridge openings where we had to clear out and wait so the police could go through. In Sarasota bay we were within a mile of the Sea Pearls, but they got better opening, or could go under bridges while we waited! Thanks for the video, we looked fast!
