Its not stuttering, its me alt-tabbing to put the moves of the in game ai into another chess engine to see the best moves, essentially cheating but this was allowed by the speedrun.com moderators as otherwise people who arent good enough at chess would be barred from playing this category

You can but when you getting in the wall you fell trough the floor and get teleported to spawn

its you. Dont post comments like this if you dont know the route let alone the name of the style bonus you are referring to. I did not forget the +Landyours style bonus because the time you pointed out in the video is not where i get this style bonus anyways. Had you watched the video fully you would have seen that i get it later in the run. Additionally there is a timestamp for every style bonus in the description. Also in order to even submit this run I have to go through it to timestamp every style bonus meaning that i will not have missed one.

chess is the part in which i can „improve“ the least. You either get a good game thats about 4 minutes long or you get a bad one that is about 7-8 minutes long its pretty much just rng based. In this run i could have performed it slightly faster but that would have made the game more risky. The most improvement comes from getting a run down without unnecessary resets

you just shoot the core swap to the malicious railcannon then dash and shoot its pretty easy

after you place the rocket you lightly tap your dive keys. the light tap is crucial

I mean going for the wr is entirely unneccessary if you have fun with the category(which i highly doubt) go for it!

you need to stand up against either side of the hallway facing the wall straight on, then you jump. As you start to hit the curved ceiling you start to move back a bit because the ceiling pushes you. Shortly after you notice that you are moving backwards you place the frozen rocket. Then, without moving your camera you walk backwards until you hit the other wall. From there you performa dive. If the rocket was placed at the right height you will clip through upon contact with it

the category has existed for ages but because the devs kept adding bullshit style bonuses no one has ran the category in months. About two months ago they changed the rules to allow menuing between levels which allows me to enter only the levels i need to enter. And yes this is not very optimized as what you are whatching here is like my 4th run of the category

Keep in mind that during most of the combat in this run im usually trying to set up or get a certain style bonus, which might not be a good show of how to play. That one railcoin you timestamped is just a setup for the pancake style bonus. For better fights check out my cybergrind speedruns. Also alt shotgun makes core nukes very easy as the core is so close to you. When using default core lots of people make the mistake of always fully charging the core which will send it flying at speeds that make it incredibly hard to hit so if you are using default core eject make sure not to charge the core very much for nukes.

@@nirichy lovely. I’ll drop a sub just so I can “collect more data” And I did try core nukes on alt to little success but tbf that was before they completely reworked how the core inherited trajectory so idk

Honestly I find a fast nuke significantly more helpful than a fast railcoin. Esp since u need to wait half a sec for a bunch of setups anyway in my experience

@@m4rcyonstation93 I honestly haven’t been able to get used to alt in slot one lmao, especially figuring out how to launch stuff and get it to land in the right spot. That being said, loving my new load out.

@@zikof5646 well you can set the difficulty and i have set it to 1000 elo which is the minimum. ill be experimenting with strats but for now im just beating it with the maxmum level chess ai on chess.com

I actually have out of bounds routed for 0-2 though in this run i missed it as I moved away to quickly unloading the stray. Since the out of bounds bonus i get in this run is grey it means that gibs must've fallen out of the map i dont know which ones or where but it happened to save my run here

@@nirichy i just watched your other run, I see the intended way, that makes sense. it's pretty funny that you accidentally got the gibs to fall out of bounds tho
