Hey I'm Adam, pleased to meet you :) I live in Queensland Australia. I like nature, photography,mechanics,solar/off grid projects and heaps more. This is only to fill in some time when I'm bored and maybe I can look back on it all one day and say 'Wow, I didn't really do much' hahaha

I couldn't find any good videos on TH-cam about a thermostat on these vehicles, so I thought I'd do one as it was probably time for it on my Rig.

Just a bit of a look at my 80 series and how I have it set up for now :)
I know I'm a few yrs late lol but I got 2 pieces of 3/4 inch clear hose I had laying around about 4 inches long and tec screwed them to the back of the draw so when closed it puts a little pressure on the draws and stops the rattles

Did you put a new O ring in or re-use use the old one. Im just about to replace my thermostat on my 105 series Landcruiser and an O ring didn't come with the new thermostat, should it have?
Hey Mate, the thermostat that I used came with a new o-ring. I would try and source one if you can as I don't think it's a job that is worth doing twice. Cheers

Hey mate. You are quite right about the size of fridge. I went for a 60l. But since it is only the two of us and we also have a centre console fridge, I find the 60l is overkill. I might downgrade at some point to 40l perhaps.
