My brother had the 1969 Mach 1 with the same colour champagne gold exterior colour with the drop seat in the back with. 351 cubic inches Cleveland engine m. Purchased at heritage ford in Scarborough ont. There was no other better from chev or dodge.

My friends parents had a 1969 LTD with a 429, I dove it back from Arizona and if you punched it at 80 mph the passing gear would kick in and would shift at 120 mph, amazing top end.

My '69 AMX always gets a lot of attention at gas stations. 390, 4-speed, Go-package, Flowmaster mufflers. For '69, the tach was mover to the right of the speedometer, which was upgraded to read up to 140 mph. The clock was moved to the left of the speedo, if equipped.

That white AMX is Richard Teague's personal car! It would later be modified with a 71-74 "Humpster) front-end in an attempt to persuade AMC Management to continue the 2-seat AMX beyond 1970.

10/2024: I was 21years old when I bought my 1969 GTX, auto, console shifter, ac, power, etc, from the original owner when the car was one and a half years old. I own a 1975 with 455 / 4bbl with the uprated suspension option and its pretty decent for its size. Brakes also are very good. Even better with todays rubber
