Laying Stone for the Driveway Entrance
มุมมอง 2102 หลายเดือนก่อน
2 truckloads of stone later and we have a graveled in entrance way for our new driveway onto our property. A lot more work to come in the spring to finish the full driveway.
First Steps in Building | Driveway & Septic Testing
มุมมอง 994 หลายเดือนก่อน
2 big projects starting to get underway at the Whit-Acre way! We needed a better driveway onto the property so we had to call in some reinforcements to excavate the entrance. Also took the first steps in testing out the soil to make sure we can get a septic system put on on our land.
Making way to the Hilltop | Adding a 10" Culvert Pipe
มุมมอง 514 หลายเดือนก่อน
We used the small culvert pipe seen in the last video to make an access way to the back end of our property that we could get to with all our vehicles, not just the quads.
Driveway Updates
มุมมอง 685 หลายเดือนก่อน
Did a little work on the current driveway to fill in some rough spots. Also took the next step in purchasing the culvert pipes needed for the new driveway that we will be putting in soon.
Replacing our Renogy Inverter
มุมมอง 1566 หลายเดือนก่อน
We were disappointed that our Renogy inverter/charger failed on us after only 4 years, but we needed to get a replacement quick and it was hard to find something comparable for a similar price, so we ended up getting their updated model. Hopefully this one lasts us a bit longer.
Weber's Annual Fishing Jamboree
มุมมอง 2356 หลายเดือนก่อน
Enjoyed the day at Weber's farm for their annual fishing Jamboree! Our youngest even won the most amount of Bass in his division. Always a good time!
Septic Clean Out
มุมมอง 1047 หลายเดือนก่อน
Its a crappy job, but has to get done! Its been 2 years since we last had our septic holding tank emptied. We don't have a regular septic system at camp and rather than waiting for things to back up (like they did last time) we wanted to see how full it was and have it cleaned out. Good thing we did at it was pretty full. Kids thought the whole process was entertaining! Thanks to Drew from Drew...
Broadcasting Corn | Spring & Rain Barrel Maintenance
มุมมอง 1038 หลายเดือนก่อน
Larry gets out the tractor to test out his DIY scarifier bar to get the ground prepped for some corn that we are going to try and grow this year. Also needed to do some maintenance to the spring box and the rain barrel system.
Updates Around the Pond
มุมมอง 3408 หลายเดือนก่อน
Taking down a dead tree and starting some work that needs to be done on the driveway beside the pond.
Trout Fishing
มุมมอง 1648 หลายเดือนก่อน
Trout season is open and even with all the rain and water moving quickly, we were still able to catch a few.
Some Spring Prep | Hooking Up Water & More Wood to Split
มุมมอง 8110 หลายเดือนก่อน
With the springlike weather starting to move in, we hooked up the spring water system we use for the cabin. Also came across another fallen tree... this time it was a good one to cut up. Came across some cool wildlife too this weekend (flying squirrel and an eagle)
More Log Splitting | Clearing for a New Driveway
มุมมอง 8410 หลายเดือนก่อน
We put in a little more time cutting and splitting wood from some logs we had around the property. Also started to clear some of the land for what is going to eventually be our new entrance to the property. Stay tuned as this will be a summer long project as we will be doing a lot of grading work and putting in a culvert pipe to cross the small creek.

That's what ruined Deer hunting That Buck rack If you don't hunt for the meat need to stay at the house. Period.
Thanks for another good session Larry!
Love to see you getting your boys out and teaching them the right way to hunt. Hope that big 10 pt shows up for you. Take care & stay safe!
Good luck in rifle season Larry! Hope you meet up with that big buck. Take care and stay safe!
Was wondering what type of cement. Also how do you stop the water from going under the block wall you folks made. I'm in south western Tennessee and we have rocks and chirt. Any insight would be awesome! Great video, thank you for sharing!
We used hydraulic cement to get it to set faster. We did have to go back and patch one area with more cement later on, but other than that, it has been going strong without issue for 3 years now. Our dirt is mostly rock and clay... we get a lot of silt build up, so we do have to clean it out once in a while.
You could make some outstanding whiskey there too.
TEACH HIM RIGHT!TAG MUST BE IN THE EAR!!
Good progress Larry!
Yet another mindless muppet demonstrating how not to operate machinery
Going to watch your better half do all the work? Get off your ass!
Good stuff Larry! Love how the whole family helps. Take care and stay safe!
Ótimo vídeo!! Tem muitas desse sistema de agua aqui no norte do Brasil..... boa sorte!
Bruh you can use that 5ft on that sub compact cause you’re using it to mow your lawn and not cutting brush. You should have gotten a finish mower instead.
I saw the cute little turtle!! Awesome job Larry!
Looks great!!
Great job girl. Shame dudes sat there and watched u work. I could t do it. I would t be an observer. Hard work is good for u. Cardio and strength. Neither would hurt…. Nice house. Nice family.
The music junked another video 👎👎👎👎💩💩😬
Perfect opportunity to let your boy get a nice buck.
Thanks for the update. In a similar system, I purchased a 12 volt DC deep well pump from TEMU, that runs off a solar panel. $75.00 Canadian. My plan is to hook it up to a solar powered battery, with a timer, to my camp. 90 ft of head may reach your cabin. :) Good luck.
Use a plastic box heavy duty one and put your pipes into it,
Yes. I found this confusing as they kept calling this a spring box. In other videos I have seen the spring box was a box the pipes from the spring fed into to collect silt and then send pure water down to the collection tank. With the setup they have they are likely to get all kinds of junk in their tank.
What’s this guy looking for, a trophy deer
Thanks for the new segment! You have a great family. Enjoy your time together!
You guys were busy! Larry you had a helper that never left your side as you were planting the corn.❤
So the ramps pull all the way out? Like can put them on the side to side load an atv?
Yes, the ramps pull all the way out and we can use them for loading and unloading atvs sideways. This is why we bought that type of trailer so we didn't have to worry about bringing extra ramps. Keep in mind these ramps are pretty heavy though.
Hey Larry, Good to see the quality family time! Thanks for the great segment. Take care & stay safe!
Thanks for another great segment Larry!
Thanks for watching!
Awesome you guys have been busy! Things are going to look different since my last visit!!
Yes lots of changes!
Great video as always!
Thanks :)
Which campsite did you use?
We stayed at Pioneer shelter 2.
Sweet log splitter! Add the log catcher table, you won’t regret!
Good stuff Larry. Thanks!
Hey Larry, You’re plans for the future sound great! Hope you’ll keep the camera going to show each step. Take care and stay safe!
Thanks! Will do.
How’d that truck slide over that hill!?😂
It looks really pretty there😊
Did you actually engage the PTO with kids that close to a rotary cutter?
Nice buck! I thought that was Jason Alexander when the video started!
watch out on the walkie i heard the beep after you were done using it wardens are scanning channels and if they hear you communicate location they will get ya
Never read the laws on that but I do know some guys at work way back in the day did get busted for using them or something. They sure knew where to find them- guess the right on county lines or something.
@@richardhessert7862 yup ive never seen it myself but i heard they crusie down roads with scanners till they pick up on something and communicating game location falls under unfair chase
Congratulations on pistol kill. Isn’t the law doe tag on a doe. Buck deer needs a buck tag, not a doe tag on a button buck.
anything under with under 3 inches of antler in pa is considered antlerless including that button buck
great pictures with the boys..
Way to go Larry
Congrats on the Buck Larry! Great to see your sons with you. Here’s to many years of you hunting with them! Take care and stay safe!!
Good job!!!
I love seeing so many people on TH-cam and Facebook not wearing near the amount of orange that’s required
in PA the required amount is 250 sq. inches and this without a doubt meets those requirements. plenty of folks wear much more but this is 1000000000% the legal amount of orange.
i0.wp.com/huntwildpa.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/orange1.png?ssl=1
All 4 corners of their shack are spray painted blaze orange as well.
@@adudeuknow when he shot the doe with the pistol he wasnt wearing anything but a hat so not legal but i think dalton just wants people to be safe
What gun you shootin?
44 Magnum he said.
Hey Larry, Congrats on the handgun doe! Great to see you spending time and teaching your son. He’ll never forget the time in the blind with his Dad. Good luck the rest of the season. Take care and stay safe!
Thanks! Appreciate you following along.
Good job!
Deer Hunting in PA is a gimmy.. If you can't shoot a deer hunting in PA you are either asleep or smoking a big reefer in the stand...but don't worry... you can hit one with your car on the way home.. Seeing 6 deer every watch is not real hunting..it's shooting practice. Not hating but up here in Ontario Canada,Deer hunting is not like this. Am I jealous?... yes but, honestly, if deer hunting was like this,I don't know I would love it as much.
Tough one Larry. Hope that buck stays in your area. Good luck and stay safe!
Thanks 👍
Hey Larry, Love your channel and look forward to each segment. I’m a retired FF from NJ that hunted PA for many years. I’m living in SC now but bought land in the mountains of VA that I’m building an off grid get away on. Wish you the best with building your channel and in the coming hunting season. Take care & stay safe!
Thanks! We appreciate you watching our videos. Good luck with your off grid build!
Yeah. She's a badass! Hard worker
Yes she is ;)
