How the hell did you get the head off? The one I'm on is free at the front & both both sides but the back bulkhead side won't budge....

What type of engine?
. My 1.6 hdi. Diesel was great. 232 thousand miles on clock.... My 1.5 diesel is much better on fuel but that 7mm chain is a worry 😢♥️🇬🇧

This car only had 150k kms. The proper maintenance procedures weren't followed but this system is soft also
@@ronantroy2042 thanks. 👍🏻 I have the same engine in my Hyundai i30. Actually 102.000km and 5 years. I change oil every 10.000km. But belt in oil isn't a good solution. Mechanic said only change at 240k with the timing belt...

Hi my friend. I hope its all al ok with you.. I need your help. I need information about this injector fail in k14d engine. Its a comon issue on this engine?! I have a vitara 2021 with the same problem with a bend rod and with a piston hole and i dont now the cause of that.. i suspect that was a injector fail. if you can help me i apreciate. Cheers
It seems very rare. This is the second case I've seen and usually suzuki will warrant a replacement short block and set of injectors to my knowledge

Broken chain and two valves are fucked Have You found a reason of camshaft chain failure....like oil change interval or similar? I know that it is 7mm thick and that there is new version that is 8mm.
Seems to be the chain that's the problem, any of the newer 8mm chains never gave trouble
Gasoline cylinder head with direct fuel injection. Good for higher horse power but higher the fuel pressure more problems with desidual fuel pressure, could cause fuel leaks, Looks like a valve interference head, this means, if the camshaft chain slips, valves could hit pistons, a very costly repair.
