Hello. If we have the JR Kansai Wide Area Pass, does it already cover both express train ticket and basic fare? Or we still have to pay an additonal fee? How much would it be for the reserved seats? Thanks!

i wish japan had more unity... one card for everything. why 5? and why are some cards not working in some places? the thing that scares me most about traveling through japan... from north to south at least, is what card is working for me? do i need to buy a ticket? is the card alone sufficient? earlier people hyped the JR pass but then again even the JR pass which is now way overpriced is not valid for every vehicle. but i guess those are tourists-only troubles... native japanese will probably not have those issues as they're using primarily the same route and move in the same region where regional cards and tickets will always be valid .... maybe...

Hi. When i arrive at Kyoto Jr station, i want to go to Jr. obaku station. For the jr obaku train, can i use my icoca card to pass the gates, or do i need to purchase a ticket from the machine for it?

My question is there an underground passage way from Kyoto station to where I am going to live while there? I am told there is and how long it would take to walk since we will be arriving on the Shinkansan from Tokyo.

8:43 If your hotel is on the south side of Kyoto Station, exit from the Hachijo exit. The method shown in this video is my recommendation. If your recommendation is another way, let me know in the comments section.

Can i use the ICOCA card on Nankai-Limited Express?

Thank you for sharing this information for Kamo River crossings, the theatre and places to eat. I plan to walk to most of the places I plan to visit while there and it would be great to not always have to cross using the road bridges. It's also good to know that there are theatre productions on as this helps for having something to do in the evening. Looking forward to your video on vegan and vegetarian places to eat.
