This video is basically about my time at swift transportation and what I thought about the company and how much I got paid weekly!

how much money do you make per load?
It all depends on a lot of things. Like how much diesel you waste and how new your truck is and what kind of insurance and coverages you added to your account! Every week you get a settlement of how much fuel you bought and your truck payment and insurance. I average 1.00 a mile after all expenses, may not be for everyone but it’s a start for me! Ex: if I drive 3k miles I get $3k , if I drive more I get more obviously lol
Chug some iced tea before your DT bro. When you poop brown it’s time to pass that test.
mr stephen is a square
Probably has nothing better to do
Holding your phone, recording, while driving…. Very fuckin smart.
Thanks for calling me smart lol 👍
If you have enough room I always slide the tandems back so I know the rear of the trailer not gonna hit the one next to it
I appreciate the tip!
U struggle because your lack of ability and experience
And you are right! I had only been driving for about 2 days when this video was taken. I’ve learned so much more since then! Merry Christmas 🎄 and stay safe!
A swift driver giving advice like he knows something
Not a swift driver but try again lol
Pulling a swift unit lumps him in on the same boat
It’s a good thing I don’t pull those trailers anymore!
you are a swift driver, hell I would not tell my dad that
I WAS a swift driver , I’m with another company now. This was just an old vid that I found.
@@geo6212 in other words: you’re a “Reformed” Swift Driver 🫡🇺🇸
You almost hit the trailer to your left
That is correct, Practice makes perfect 👍
Is there a rule somewhere that says you have to hit a spot in one shot.
I really hope there wouldn’t be lol but on the other hand I try to get these trailer’s in as quick as I can. The more time I have the more miles I run!
When. Your in that driving groove sometimes everyone loses focus , sense of danger, sense of safety . Excellent driver 👌
The dock door right in front of the slip was empty, don't be afraid to use that space to make it easier to back up. And you did great. I've seen ppl take an hour to do easier.
In all honesty I probably could have done a straight back lol but me being stubborn I always choose the difficult route so that I get more practice 😂
@@geo6212 same is best to make sure you are practiced else when you need to do something hard you struggle for an hour.
Nobody's perfect
That’s for sure 👍
Struggle? Bro you parked that successfully
I feel like this one could have gone better 😂
No he didn't,he hit the trailer next to him
Almost hit the trailer next to me , didn’t hit it though!
Is a swift I no even need to watch to the end he scratch all over for sure
Actually he did fine.
Thanks for putting out the real and being as such.
Even now almost a year in and I still struggle on some spots 🚛
@Geo practice when you have extra space. Try different ways of parking while you have the opportunity to make it easy, so if you need to do something different, you don't have to struggle. For the way you did it, lining up the back tires in the middle of the parking space will help.
I want to do a midget
