After years of using the URSA, I would choose the Z9 for my use-case (mixed photo + video). The image and raw flexibility out of the URSA is undeniably superior, however it’s impossible to have it be your only camera if you do multiple disciplines of camera work. It takes a bit more work to make the URSA perform like it should on any shoot compared to something like the Z9. The Z9’s image is 97% of the way to the URSA, plus all the other creature comforts of a hybrid. You’ve got uncropped video at pretty much any resolution and frame rate, Sony-level autofocus, great battery life, and of course photo capability. Really you can’t go wrong with either though if you have your own workflows and comfort with each camera. I’ve shot weddings and commercials with only the URSA, and I’ve also done so with only the Z9, and both are different but are capable of making very amazing products. For reference, everything during the getting ready was filmed on the URSA. Everything ceremony and after was filmed on the Z9.
