Yes yes yes! I wasnt planning on maining him even in CotW but they gave him another counter...and im all about my counter characters...Oooooooo! We'll see lol Great work SNK, stage is very nice too. The game just needs to stick the landing at launch and I think some new fans are sure to be created.

Rock was 17 in MotW, and he's 19 at the time of CotW, so the interval between games is 2 years. As for Gato. His name means "cat". And cats adapt very well when their sight is gone. His name can also be considered an insult in canon because his father's name is Gao. Gato is basically a "kitten" in the eyes of his father, which is actually terrifying because Gato was one of the strongest characters in MotW lore wise. Terry, Marco, and Grant were the only ones that had a chance of beating him. So if Gato is a "kitten", what kind of "lion" is his father? But if you look closely at his hidden gear, Gato's eyes still work, he's just choosing not to use them so he can fight more effectively. As Gato himself puts it, his sight made him sluggish(Gato, broken as he was in MotW, considered himself sluggish, let that sink in).
