That's rad 😎🤘🏼
looks great 😎
💪💀
I love it😊 Happy Halloween 🎃
Excellent idea, good work.
WHY CANT HOME DEPOT MAKE SOMETHING LIKE THIS!!! I would try to make something like it but I don’t have the patience lol
They can
Great video thanks for sharing
awesome build! it looks so cool. and kudos for not editing out your frustrations along the way. i think it's helpful to be able to see what went wrong as well as what went right
Good Idea. Thank you
Very cool!!!
Question - folks are telling you to add holes to the bottom, but isn’t the point to have as much air as possible be sucked up and shoot out the top? Drilling holes in the bottom seems counter productive in that effort.
@navystudios4149 I agree with you, and that's also my belief. I wanted to maximize the air being shot out from the top holes as much as possible. I believe a lot of air and pressure would be lost by having holes at the bottom.
ONE PUNCH MAN!!!
Im more than certain this video was created for the strong independent women out there who dont need a man to replace their piston rings or their drive shaft...let alone put a spare tire on after they have a flat tire. But at the same time this new generation of young MALES who need the swat team to run them off of their video game platforms probably need this video as well. Common sense must've been one of those limited edition blessings/attributes/ traits that the Good Lord was giving the newborn babies in the early 1990s because after that...ya can't find Common sense in most humans. I thank the Lord that i was fortunate enough to receive that blessing from him 🙏🏾 thanks for the content fam. Keep it coming 💪🏾 🔥
Just wondering... is there a high heat metal that I can use besides the aluminum?
Yea, you could use a roll of stainless steel. I just wouldn't use anything that is galvanized or has a zinc coating because they release toxic fumes when heated. I just happened to use the aluminum because I already had it, and because aluminum doesn't rust.
@@HouseholdJourneys thank you for replying. I decided I am going to use fire bricks and Refractory Cement.
You didn’t have to unplug it?
@@oliviagabbay I did not, but unplugging the refrigerator would be best practice for absolute safety.
Good video. You can get a screen at the hardware store to cover the drain so you won't have to do this as often. Or you could convince your wife that she looks good with short hair.
😂 Those are both very good solutions.
Good video!
people, don't put anything but liquid in your sink!!!
This must be a Handyman channel
personally i would replace the flexible tubing in the tail end after the trap. those are prone to clogging very easily. and it could be replaced with an extension easily.
easier solution is to stop shoving paper towels down your drains
I agree. The issue I have, though, is that the p-trap won't line up with the drain pipe that goes into the wall if I were to use a rigid extension.
You could try replacing the center continuous waste with an end continuous waste. From what I can see in the video it should allow you to line up the trap. Hope this helps
@@HouseholdJourneysthere are multiple fittings to fix that. Flexible waste arms are not, and never will be the way.
@@parapotatoes421 I'll give it a shot. Thank you!
Personal preference for me, would be to drive the screws from below, through the old wood into the new. Yeah, epic intro!
Production budget…f..king ZERO!😂
Quit watching when you said...I don't want to replace the entire post.
thanks for the warnings about pressure treated wood and the proper use of PPE
You need to add 8 holes at the bottom this will be a game changer! Try it....you will have way less smoke....i see lots of smoke in your fire.
Epic intro and outro. Would this work with a shorter oiece of wood?
Thank you lol. Yes, a shorter piece can work. I would say a 3 to 4 ft piece should work just as well.
@@HouseholdJourneys ok, great. Thank you for your prompt reply.
Possibly the greatest intro I've ever seen
Must be some advanced AI generated graphics and music. Perfectly synchronized.
"Finna"?
He said "gonna" but they mean the same thing.
That’s direct heat over flame. Clearly has no clue what smoking is…
In the video, I said that I smoked it at 250. Unfortunately, i didn't record that part. The flame that you see in the video was from when I opened the grill grate to get a sear on the steak. Hopefully, that clears up any confusion.
At least he can read.
No right before the pandemic hit. I got the replaced on the house I moved into and it's a belt fed motor cost like three grand after it was all said and done and it's quiet like a f****** mouse. Not to mention that I could literally open my garage from anywhere like in the country on the globe. Yeah it's a s*** and I'm not even rich I'm f****** poor
like
Garage door lubricant, WD40 LOL
A loud garage door isn't a problem. It's a security feature.
As if they haven’t re branded WD40 and charged you extra for the privilege
White lithium grease works well for this, too. Sounds much better!
It is not good to use grease in long run. Grease attracts dust and holds them in place. Depending on your environment, this dust can contain abrasive material (like sand). Garage door lube is PTFE, silicone, or both, which leaves dry film.
Sounds just as shit lol. Tard
Thank you! I’ll be picking some of that up tomorrow
You could just stop slacking and replace that post
It’s a quick budget bandaid that will get you through a couple more years
All he did was transfer the load to the next posts in line. The correct thing to do is replace the post
Try using that effort to actually fix the post
Looks like a lot of that sway is coming from the 4 x 4 but by adding a 2 x 4 up top wouldn't hurt. Also, wood glue is actually stronger than those screws so if you did both it would be even stronger..
Nails atleast would be better than screws, atleast nails would flex with it instead of breaking
@smokeythehuman3596 if you really think that then clearly you haven't been a carpenter for any period of time... I'm not talking about using drywall screws lol
Huh, I never would’ve considered that. My fence is chain link, but I do want to switch to a full privacy fence. Noted!
Did you do anything to seal the gap between the metal ring and aluminum sheet?
I just piled up the sand high enough to cover the seam where the ring and aluminum overlap each other.
I feel like a idiot. I purchased a galvanized tub to hold a rocket stove. The stove does not have a ash pan. Thinks for this info. Saved me wondering why it’s rusting. LOL It’s not rusting because I only used it two or three times. LOL
The zinc does burn off.
This is the best and most honest video I have seen on DIY smokeless fire pits! Well done : ) I do think bottom holes would have been beneficial though
Congrats man many more to come
Great video!!!
