I have a G9 Matchless of 1954 and a 1955 AJS Model 20 Spring Twin, the same bikes but i dont ride mine in Nazereth Knockabouts, i wear boots as any sane person would and long trousers, its just common sense.

I love it, but why did you paint it all red???

I had the 32cc Model in 1953 I had the wheel fitted to my Phillips sports bike when I was 16 years old, the throttle lever was replaced with a twist grip same as a motorcycle and it was much better. Registration was WTW 114, sold it in 1955 because I had to do my National Service in the Army. What a great means of transport I used get 30/35 MPH out of mine. Cost new £28.
