Usually because they want to do their own thing their own business which is a good thing, i used to encourage it, well why not. R
Upcoming generations' attention spans are shot myself included. After 4-5 years, I just get totally bored and have to pursue something different, but try to stay in my career field maintenance but more money does help 😅
Good emmployees generally have to work with shit employees for the same money and in some cases less hard enough doing your own work without carrying others look at voluntary redundancy good employees take them as they can get employment elsewhere easy the shit workers don't as they know they will battle to get employment elsewhere in the end you train good workers to leave and take there skills to your opposition
I could have retired 5 years ago, but I enjoyed my work so much, I kept working until this year when my company made a bunch of unpopular decisions that resulted in higher expectations with fewer resources. I wanted to work another 5 years, but I’m calling it quits in Jan2025. I don’t need the aggravation.

Bad management, hostile environment, bad communication, and lazy kiss ass management
They may be self motivated, however there are always opportunities to identify additional motivational affordances that may help an individual to succeed further at work. This may help their retention through increased job satisfaction and enjoyment. It will also contribute to increased organisational success over time.

I won't tolerate a disrespectful boss either, and that's my disclaimer for your video. Just like there are rules and regulations for employees to follow the same applies for people in management. Having a title in management doesn't give you a pass to disrespect employees. My corrective behavior for a supervisor is to let he or she know that disrespectful behavior and being put down won't be tolerated.
I hear you - I haven't had too many encounters with disrespectful bosses but I definitely have left toxic work environments for greener pastures. I did have one boss that constantly mispronounced my name and I corrected her each time. She was surprised when I told her I was taking a position with another company a few months later. SMH

I got that no that they are not in charge of the team but, thats not saying thats what you tell them? Maybe give more examples. Im having all those issues that your mentioning but , your not offering any real suggestions to use. I am new as a leader. You say nip it in the bud. I have attempted to nip it in the bud and and this one employee will make up excuses and plays little word games. I dont have patience for this so I have to stop.
