"I hope someday you'll join us" When I'll forget to take my pills...
All this time I thought it was "imagine all the people", when it turns out it was actually "Imayaaeyeaiayaooooshamaeoeayeeah aaaaaoooeaauwaaaeyeahyeahayeaaaaaaaaalllll the peopleaaaaaaaooooayeayeahayAAaaeyayaaaaahahhhhhheeeee"
hmm?
I'm surprised no-one has taken this and put it into an anaolog horror project by now
banger
So what’s the tone row here?
I laughed way too hard at this. Such a mess! 🤣
the bit at 0:21 really works :D
I think now the melody is more appropriate to what the lyrics mean.
very cool! a strong unplugged performance outdoors!
now that was refreshing!
Its good, but remember that you have to follow the structure of a Sonata, aswell as the basic structure of a piece for each movement, for example A-B-C-A-B
@@clcomposer7965 I will let my past self know
Can you do it's going to get weird
I don't hear the metal part.
or the jazz, only the mis-direction for some mysterious time-wasting reason.
Secret of Mana vibes!
Parabéns! Super bem escrita a peça! Tente arregimentar músicos para executarem ela, certamente será um grande aprendizado, existe a tendência de soar diferente com pessoas tocando.
thank you, it was performed once. I'm excited for it to be performed again
Something I really enjoyed seeing is the duplets in 6/8 time, something I've seen in Robert W. Smith's "Don Quixote", but instead of 6/8, it's in 3/4. A very interesting rhythm! But overall, what a very pretty piece! Good job!! :)
@@johnnytheyoungmaestro thank you
this is amazing!!!!!!! HUUUGE fan 😍🥰
Nice playing and composition/song!
Love this!!!! ❤
Some background on this song: I wrote this song with a high school band back in 2015. On July 25th 2024, I decided to rerecord the song in a very stripped down and simplified setting. The song is dedicated to my friends Mike and Pat (my old band members) I used an Ibanez AG95-DBS Artcore Expressionist Series (unplugged, and miced up with a Rode M5 Matched Pair, and a Rode NT2-A). For voice, I just used the NT2-A I've been feeling a lot of sad nostalgia recently, and have had this weird feeling that time is moving by too quickly in a very strange way. I'm releasing this song as a way of expressing that. Have a wonderful day, sincerely. -Christian
I wish I had an A clarinet
"The music you write at your lowest" Me writing like this all the time:
You can use 2/4 and not have to use duples
Not the same thing. I went down this rabbit hole with my old conducting professor. I'm basically trying to have the feel of dotted sixteenth notes, or 4 over 3. Switching to 2/4 would imply a different rhythm. Just my two cents
@@ChristianMechem the audience is listening without the score in hand and it sounds like 2/4. I think it would also be easier to perform without the extra jank. Just my 2 cents
Fair enough. As the composer, and the conductor of the initial performance, I'm content with this decision. Thank you for your feedback, sincerely
if i played any of these instruments i would adore to play this.. beautiful!
Cool! Where can the other movements be found?
There is a recording on my channel of a full performance by the Allegro Orchestra. The video is "Serenade No.1"
I love the idea of portraying metal music purely in a classical setting
The synthetic instrument sounds don’t do justice to how moving this is! Great job!
There's a version out there with real instruments. I just personally would like to rerecord it
@@ChristianMechem fair enough, I’d love to hear that whenever it gets rerecorded!
It would sound sooo much better in MS4 😭
@@bluefalcon5433 I tried MS4. I prefer note performer in this case

Wow that's beautiful. I love the simplicity of the instrumentation, it allows the melody, harmonies, tempo changes, time signature changes, and dynamics to develop and shine in a really unique way. Great job :)

The Psychology of Shame Shame is a feeling of embarrassment or humiliation that arises from the perception of having done something dishonorable, immoral, or improper. People who experience shame usually try to hide the thing they feel ashamed of. When shame is chronic, it can involve the feeling that you are fundamentally flawed. Shame can often be hard to identify in oneself. While shame is a negative emotion, its origins play a part in our survival as a species. Without shame, we might not feel the need to adhere to cultural norms, follow laws, or behave in a way that allows us to exist as social beings.1 Shame can be problematic when it becomes internalized and results in an overly harsh evaluation of oneself as a whole person. This inner critic might tell you that you are a bad person, worthless, or have no value. The truth is, how deeply you feel ashamed often has little to do with your worth or what you have done wrong. there are common concepts that overlap with shame include embarrassment, humiliation, and guilt. However, these different terms have nuances in meaning that are important to know to better understand shame. In the academic book Shame, published by Oxford University Press, the authors identified four categories of shame behaviors:3 The Hot Response Behaviors to Cope With or Conceal Shame Safety Behaviors to Avoid Shame or Being Discovered Behaviors to Repair Shame The Hot Response These are things you do when you feel ashamed and defensive, such as lashing out in anger or attacking the other person to deflect attention from yourself. The hot response is usually an impulsive reaction Behaviors to Cope With or Conceal Shame These behaviors include doing things to make yourself feel small, trying to avoid being the center of attention, or not sharing your thoughts or feelings. Concealing yourself is a method of self-protection. Safety Behaviors to Avoid Shame or Being Discovered This category of shame behaviors might be things like apologizing, crying, or avoiding conflict. People who have a tendency toward being emotional or avoiding conflict may be more likely to engage in safety behaviors. Behaviors to Repair Shame These might include things like doing things to soothe yourself or apologizing to others. For example, if you forgot an important anniversary, you might tell yourself that you had a lot on your mind or engage in gestures to show that you are sorry. Shame does not need to continue to be what determines how you view yourself. In fact, you can choose to identify and embrace your shame, then move on from it. For example, if you were abandoned as a child, you may feel shame that your parent did not want to stay. In that case, it is better for you to identify that shame and let it go than to hold on to it.
