Idris Muhammad is a well known drummer that played with the likes of George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Freddie Hubbard, Milt Jackson, Grover Washington, Stanley Turrentine just to name a few all under the CTI (Creed Taylor Inc.) record label and recording studios located on the East Coast that produced some of the most prolific jazz hits ever recorded starting in the late 60's through the 80's.
