It's not this or that defining Beethoven genius. Every composition is along a spectrum of genius.
Very spirited and elegant performance. Nicely balanced.
Wow! I love how the cello played
What a versatile musician Beethoven is !
AMAZINGGGGGG
The comfort of their performance is unrivaled, and irreplaceable , and outclassing

Oh! how beautiful exiting Beethoven Op.18 it is ! I was moved so much, especially (sf) sound are very very juicy attack and length.
Wayyyyyyyyyyyyyy to slow and pretty bad phrasing
yeah i know its slow but its not wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy, its just a bit and yeah i gotta admit the phrasing is also a bit bad but probably because they didnt take the dynamics really really seriously like on 6:47 it should be FIERY but they didnt do it enough but still GREAT GREAT GREAT performance, the fact that they took it in ONE TAKE from BEGINNING TO END and no cuts between movements.... WOW if i was the first violin i would die xD Edit: no hate on them though, the first violin is WONDERFUL the tone she makes is so SWEET
anyone coming here from twosets newest quartet vid
Yes, I need to listen to that for 40 hours

I am returning again and again to this wonderful performance of the C minor quartet. Especially the playing of the first violinist is absolutely stunning and exciting to watch.
0:58 I was looking for this part!!!!! 2:06
This is my favorite version of the c minor quartet, much thanks to the first violinist, who is absolutely fabulous.
This is my favorite...especially the 4th movement ㅠㅠ
Wonderful playing, and an absolutely stunning first violinst that blends in perfectly where needed.
You come here from Twoset video about what not to do in a quartet rehearsal, right?
Absolutely gorgeous..., if the only thing I could possibly think is that the first violin felt weak at the wrong points
9:07 scherzo 15:45 minuetto 20:00 allegro/prestissimo note Hungarian stylings, traditonal forms...this excellent interpretation deserves more commentary!
Yay!! Sounds wonderful! : )
