When u said u need French for university, is that because u'll be applying to universities in France and will be needing it for that? Or does that give u an edge for the university applications?
Taking a second language in school is highly recommended for most universities in Canada so I chose to take French :)

Nope it’s not mandatory, but lots of students take language classes because some universities require it.
