Dirt Rally 2.0 / Monaro / Australia / Mount Kaye Pass / Lancia Fulvia HF (2nd try)
Stage time: 08:43.386 (top 250)
That's a massive upgrade over the previous result (-13.421s).
Setup changes:
* brake bias set to 66%
* a shorter 4th gear - 0.950
* a shorter final drive - 0.220

Solid run ! Aus is particularly hard to drive !!
really testing the roll in roll cage with that one 😂
Great run! I just got the game like 3 days ago on sale. I been running this TT to get used to the game. I been running both the Fulvia and VW GTI as well on it and I have been faster in the Fulvia too with my best time at 9.52.918. I think I could use some better gearing on my set up. I swear though the GTI seems faster during run but its not.
Thanks! Your stage time is pretty good too! Btw, I'm sure that GTI is actually a faster car. And I can bet that now I can beat my record time on this car too. The trick with Lancia Fulvia, I guess, is in its weight. Fulvia is a little lighter and a less powerful car. So you can be less gentle with throttle control than on GTI. And yeah :D Since Fulvia definitely lacks power, it pushes me to drive as aggressively as I can :) Otherwise, the overall dynamics quickly drop.
@@AndreiAstapovRoom Thanks yeah anything under 10 for me right now is really fast. I like older classic cars ( because I am old ) so I really like driving the Fulvia . In my other racing games ( non Rally ) I prefer RWD. In this game I really struggle with RWD the only one I can get a good TT with so far is the Datsun 240z. The others I am taking out fences like a bulldozer.
@@Troy_nov1965 Fairlady Z is beautiful (like many other old cars) :) I understand your struggles with RWD. It's much less stable than FWD. It took me around a week of practicing on Renault Alpine to run a stage at a good pace without crashes :D The best thing I can advise is lowering the pace and paying attention to throttle and brake pedal control. It should always be done as smoothly as you can. Otherwise, the car's rear end will slide, leading the vehicle to spin. And, yes, you can also try modifying brake balance, differential, and drivetrain settings (it can also help a little).
