Here's another installment from my home demo recording project. It's a song I wrote for the end of a year, but it could be for a birthday or any other milestone you care to mark. I hope you like it. "Untitled, for now" c. 2023 William Woltz

Here's a break-up song I wrote *many* years ago. I thought I'd pull it outta the mothballs and have some fun with it. Recorded July 06, 2023, at Pluck Farm (Steel String Brewing) in Mebane, N.C., a really great place to perform!

Wonderful tune and performance. The lyrics bring back my memories of High School in Alabama when integration was just starting. Your final verse has a message of hope for the future.
Great song and nice playing!
Très joli jeu ! Grand bravo 👍
Very good. I'm enjoying this project of yours very much. I'm just learning classical guitar myself and I wish I could see your right hand technique.
Nicely done. I've been working on this for a couple of weeks but not there yet. That low D works well.
Awesomeeee!!

Great song! Powerful lyrics, good structure and beautifully performed. Well done!
Good decision on ‘No Cow’. Super enjoyed! Sounds so ‘back- porchy’. Writing this on a Sunday morn as it rains in north Wake. How many guesses do I get as to who the violist might be?🤓
Take as many guesses as you like. :)
Nice groove!
Thanks Jamie! The next iteration for this song, in the coming weeks, is to add a bluesy violin part. Stay tuned!
Will, this is a perfectly wonderful song. You just nailed it, brother. Please post the lyrics on this video as they're worth reading and rereading and rereading... -JD
I just posted the lyrics. Thanks John! Great to hear from you.
I am proud to know you also, Will. I thought of you this spring when Marie Harper and I stopped in Williamsboro to enjoy a walk around the oldest frame church in NC, St. John’s Episcopal, where last I saw you if my memory serves me right. We were on the way to Buggs Island, VA.
Hope that you will bring us more of your music
Thank you Gary. I really appreciate that. And I hope you are doing well. I still walk down to that church often. I'm glad to see that they're painting it and doing some overdue maintenance.
This is marvelous, Will. I am thankful you took the time and had the presence of mind to turn your precious heart into this meaningful song. We love you.
Will, this is your masterpiece. You have crafted a song that honors love and truth. We are so proud to know you.
