There's another ending. On Easy and Normal ending, it Skips the final boss final. The TRUE Final Boss is the hard mode against The End. I was playing this on Normal mode and that happened with me too.

@@MonsterDawg79 Oddly enough, I didn't cry after beating the game and watching the ending... But when I watched it on TH-cam moments later, that was when I got choked up. Lolo's crying and her hugging Klonoa was what keeps on causing the dam to break for me. Doubly so since this is the last game in the series as of now and that Lolo's voice is dead in real life. Even the bittersweet music and the acting from both Kumiko Watanabe and the late Tomoko Kawakami is enough to set me off...
