Love it! But I would definitely take a percentage of profit from your next 2 to 3 jobs and grab yourself a Festool dust extractor, and a couple Festool and or Mirka sanders.. Forget about the immense amount of time they save, how much profitability/efficiency will go up or the fact the HEPA filtration on them keeps your work area/clients home super clean. The finish you can get with them is perfect.

Great video. Been a paint contractor 4 decades always wanted to do the repair myself save the 2 weeks plus down time. I can fix anything but without watching this would have been a nightmare. Only suggestion for others may be to put the packing nut back on hand tight while putting piston back in. Piston was pushing the upper packings out few times but not a big deal.

Your video helps a lot, thanks. Any time I'm tapping the piston back through the block I try to use a wood dowel. I was surprised at how clean the inside of your sprayer was. Do you dissassemble and clean it often? I run mine until it blows paint out through the packings and then I rebuild.

Can you use any compressor with this or have to have the 6-stage turbine?

I spray water based urethane from home depot with out thinning it out and end it up with clogged gun big time.had to clean up orifice where plastic hose ends and there is another hole on the front of the gun it gets clogged and there is no more product coming out.also be very careful with the cup,don’t drop it and clean it always because even if you replace the cup seal still gonna bleed because of damaged cup😢😢😢😢

Never used my repaired tall boy! UNTIL today! 8years it sat from the repair shop! IN WATER!!!!! SMH I sent it in with M.S. !! exspected it to return with the same! NOPE know its going to someone else!! Was praised about how clean my sprayer was and i used M.S. to flush Was my stand by sprayer after the short boy just pooped ? O WELL

I'm starting to have problems with that black end piece not going all the way to the right and it's starting to make that silver piece turn when i don't want it too

Good vid. Nice detailed explanation on the change out of packings. I just bought a used 2016 490 mkII pc pro and it has the newer style pump. You show and explain the benefit of the pc pump. I've never changed the pump on the earlier style and now I see why Graco made the change.
