Channel about RC road racing in Hong Kong. Focus is on car types popular in Hong Kong including 1/10 Touring, F1, DTM, etc. Front wheel drive short 'M' chassis are also very popular here so many race series include this category. I am based at ACO race track in Fanling, Hong Kong so most of my footage will be from there initially. As the channel grows I would like to film more other venues and races in Hong Kong. Hong Kong RC car shopping route to Kwong Wah Street

This quick video shows the best route to most of the RC car stores in Hong Kong. The vast majority of stores are in the Mong Kok area near Kwong Wah Street. As stated in the video it's best to get off at Yau Ma Tei MTR station and take the route in the video. This route is quicker than leaving via Mong Kok station and avoids as much of the crazy Mong Kok crowd as possible!

RC Tips - preventing stripped screw heads

So let me get this straight...adjusting ride height is done by using the adjusters on the shocks...correct....but to get the balance right, that adjustment is the shock collers aswell...doesn't that then throw off the ride hight...

Because you've got air in your shocks, let it sit for 30 minutes before closing the shocks

When do you change the shock oil please do you replace it frequently and after how much?
You replace it if there is no rebound from the shock, you gotta test it every month if you want to optimise the performance you your car. You will replace the oil frequently if you have an offroad but not really if you have an onroad.

Hi, I'm wondering why a touring car doesn't need a center diff? When going a round a corner, the front wheels spin faster than the rear because of the extra distance they need to travel. A center diff would allow this to happen, giving you more power and a controlled turn. Why are center diffs only found on buggies? All real AWD cars have a center diff.
The touring or onroad cars typically have diffs in the front and rear that work like you described...but there is the possibility that a spool can be used in the front to lock the front for more pull out of a corner..the rear diff is usually either a ball type with polished steel plates that the ball bearings ride in or gear style with a thick fluid to get the differential action needed...both can be adjusted to driver liking.

hi there. Yes we use drag break for touring cars. In general it seems the less the better. Just enough to help slow you down for the corners. You can refer to the setting sheets it's of the ESC of some of the pro drivers for reference.

Hi there. Yes the ride height will change so you will need to re adjust afterwards.

So both ride height and chases balance are adjusted by turning the shock absorber collar?
Yes. Ride height by adjusting both collars at the same time, balance by adding tension one side and releasing the other side.

Hi there I wonder if you can help me with a problem I have on my RC, it runs well and smooth to a point, then suddenly goes crazy and goes full throttle and steering goes hard over, it doesn't respond to inputs at this point and the fail safe clearly didn't function as intended, would this be the result of a dodgy receiver?

Can you guys implement park 1/8 buggy for nitro here in Hong Kong? A lot of shop in Mong Kok selling 1/8 Nitro gas but no else where to play. This is ridiculous and unfair?
