So you’re saying that physical ability progression doesn’t effect overall? I’m not sure that’s true since any other EA game is the opposite but I could be wrong. I’ll look into it

@cswee123 the progression of the physical abilities cost skill points, but having bronze, silver, or gold does not affect the overall rating. I think it's 3 skill points per level but I'm not sure about that part

I haven’t heard of that tbh. I assumed they leveled up when you crossed the rating threshold but I’ll look at it when I run through it again. I was surprised by these results but I did a few tests so I was convinced enough

To your first point and last point, I have yet to see really any major issues. For example the AI accuracy being that low still provides around 60-70% completion when I play the AI. This is down from near 90 when playing at 50. Not really sure how anything can be "proven" by anyone not in the development team. Not saying there isn't supporting evidence just not convinced all the variables can be taken out to provide results that aren't crazily out of error from a standard hypothesis POV. To your second point that actually may be a thing since I am running a new dynasty and set the sliders to the same I had before and see different results but this is also after the update so I can't be for certain. This is also not my sliders video so I don't explain why I did each. I have a few people tell me they enjoy it so I assume its good enough for those people. Mine is by no means perfect just what I have found that works.

You can look at your records and a few other things like top5 classes in one of the coach sections. But not any past champs or Heisman winners or anything

I would love to see a field storming as well that would be awesome. And there are some little scuffles in between plays if you watch closely enough but the refs never get involved that would be cool especially if they could get flagged for it from time to time

I have not seen that issue, wth is this man... really sucks as I love playing this game but all these issues really take some of the enjoyment out of it

Yes, not sure what his rating is at the moment but its not great I'm sure. I have noticed the AI is pretty bad at FGs regardless of rating

I never uploaded it so you will have to change them manually. I plan on releasing V3 this week after the update and I will try to get it uploaded I couldn't figure it out the last time

Yeah, it is part of the limitations we put on ourselves to accomplish a "hard mode". Legendary difficulty with only timing swinging

Yeah I just couldn’t get over the fact FCS teams were completing 90%+ of passes. I still won most of my games but it was a sweat fest. I feel like this will allow you to play more realistic and not just have to micro everything

I haven’t been back on since they just released the hot fix. But they said they fixed the freshman issues. And check out Twitter and Bordeaux he has a solution to the score bug issue.

This is on Heisman, and yeah I could try to play to the best of my ability but I genuinely don't want to. It may sound weird but I try to make the series realistic and if I anyone practices too much then Heisman becomes too easy so I try to just go out a vibe. I know that sound like a stupid reason but that is my rationale behind it

They updated some of the scheduling logic today so lets hope they fixed it! I haven't tried to a lot yet but I am going to here soon

@cswee123 I played a dynasty with florida after moving alot of teams around in custom conferences. I made the sec the original 12 before a&m and Missouri came. I go to custom schedules and instead of tennessee being the third Saturday in September they were scheduled right before the fsu game. plus lsu was completely absent despite the fact they should be a protected rival

Yeah protected rivals are still an issue, in their deep dive before release they mentioned you should be able to change them in the custom conferences screen but that is still absent

I am not sure when you tried this but if it was before yesterday morning the scheduling logic was screwed. You may want to try now EA mentioned they fixed some of the logic so hopefully they fixed this. Fingers crossed

I really appreciate the feedback! I really enjoy the difficulty behind this game, Heisman is definitely a hard experience than previous versions of the game. But it will be so satisfying in year 4-5 when we can hoist that Heisman or CFP trophy after the grind!

@@cswee123 Ya the road full of obstacles is often more rewarding then the one traveled with ease. I think if you embrace the run first, pass second mentality you'll surpass any opponent. Go with your strengths, and keep a keen eye on the weaknesses (your o line). If i were you i would read the pass rush first then look downfield as you break for a potential run. I havent played ncaa in years but i remember the pump fake was affective for scrambling; especially as you approach the line of scrimmage, and have a defender between u and your receiver. That being said I think you got the skills, but you're just playing like a pocket qb who has a pro o-line backin him up ; )

Very true, I hate running all the time as it is way OP like the old games but you are right I am not playing to my strengths I will work it in more for sure

Strange, I have my turned up and have seen more. I haven't really noticed that happen on any of my sliders. But I will look at it going forward and post an update if I need to. I will mention it in V3 if I notice anything I was waiting on the patch to retry some things so it should be out here in a week or so.

@@cswee123 go to your dynasty and go to sliders and turn fumble all the way to zero then go to practice mode and run a QB option. Keep it with your quarterback and try to truck with no turbo and you will fumble every time then go back to slider and put at 100 and do the same thing and zero fumbles. This is how I tested it out.

But with this confusion now it’s making me question what the other sliders are doing by putting them up or down.

I like the idea, when I made this I wasn't sure if you could get rid of the independents since you couldn't in NCAA 14. I will be putting out a series focusing on a few 30 year realignment guides for people to follow.

If they won their conference then it doesn't matter what they are ranked, 1-4 will always be top 4 ranked conference winners

@@cswee123 unc from the acc isn’t never going to b 2. They didnt even let them in the top 4. Cfp will not keep them at 16 either. I get they don’t know how it will work exactly but it’s way wrong now. They kept #2 Ohio state out of it. Oregon did win the big ten tho. Oregon was 1 and osu was 2 in the conference title game. The top 25brankings are bad from week 3 on anyway with all the terrible upsets too. Undefeated Oregon was 3 and Ohio state with 2 losses was 1. Michigan I love them by the way was 11 at 5-5. Terrible.

⁠@@liippyz1801it’s horrible. I just had a season in 2026 and no ACC team was even in the playoff. 2 group of 5 teams with 3 loses were in tho

I was having a lot of fun with it. V3 will have minor tweaks but focus on subbing some players out more. Hope you enjoy it

The only thing I have seen on this is to change the scheduling from 8 games to 9. Other than that I have not seen a fix from EA, it really is unfortunate and worries me with switching conferences around, hopefully that helps

I use play call limits to not spam plays, the adaptive AI was more of a response to seeing people complain about how the AI would start to play in the second half. Your point is very valid if you game plan well you don't need to

I agree 100%, I am not really sure what the issue was. Time should not have been an issue with 3.5 years to develop. I think they may have leaned into making the game feel authentic in terms of visuals and didn't really QA test a lot. But some things should have been caught very early on, like how can you not see that like 10 FCS teams upset top 25 teams each season

Couldn't say it better myself, I like that realignment probably one of my favorites but I am also pretty fond of the SWC and Big 8, would have been cool if they combined I think it would have been such a cool conference.

You have to have an online dynasty, if you didn't select that to start you can't get it unfortunately

Recruit better offensive players I would say, pretty obvious but with so little you can effect and defense being so hard you can't really do much unless you just hold them to 0 every game. Check out my settings video on the channel it should provide better sim results from the limited trialing I have seen.

I believe I looked under coach contract but didn't find anything, and for the drafted players I thought it was for your specific school so once you switch it would reset. Thanks for the tip I will look at it this evening!

That is a good idea as a well, might not be for everyone but would work all the same. When playing NCAA 14 I would keep almost everything in an excel file but that got tedious so I have vastly limited what I keep now.

@@cswee123 well I spoke too soon. For whatever reason I encountered an issue where the game was saying I couldn't save any more files for the game when i tried to start a new save for one of my Dynasties entering its 5th season. It seems your approach while more manually intensive is a good option if you want to track all that stuff which is pretty fun.

@@cswee123 Yea for sure! Will definitely be around for v3! Yea i agree with the rb statement. I’ve been rebuilding kansas and i have 2 5 star running back recruits from last year and it seems like one is getting 85% of the touches and the other is only getting 15% and i wish it was more like 50 / 50 or even 60/40 at that point.

I would love a feature that would allow you to select percentage of plays or something for players to play, like if you wanted to split time equally between 2 rbs assign them 50/50 rather than having an auto sub slider

I have been trying some out but only on RBs. Only started a day or so ago I will make V3 and include this we well, already tweaked some of the settings so I need to get a updated version here shortly

@@cswee123 does this game allow you to transfer a character from college to pro? I remember one of the old college games MANY years ago allowed you to do that. I took a line backer to the pros. Went from Bama to the Dolphins. Was fun.

I believe so I didn't make it based on time, it should work for any length of game. Fatigue and wear and tear would fluctuate but I didn't mess with those. I will tune fatigue in V3 since I would like to see RBs switch out more but haven't tested that yet!

I agree there are some guys who can but the dude from FCS SE shouldn't be kicking near 70 yarders lol. Turning it down still allows for kickers to hit big ones but just makes you play a little more realistic. Most coaches would rather go for the 4th on the 35 rather than put it up to their kicker. Makes you take that into account
