Did anyone else catch the picture of the Boston Boatworks BB52 (or maybe the 44) behind the desk? Nice boat here. The 40z will go down as a very iconic boat.
Good eye MKP, that's a BB44! Same builder & designer as this 40z.
@FlagshipYachts yes, I love these Zurn designs. It's too bad how it ended with him and MJM. Heck, MJM just sold out, and Peter left the company. But the 40z will always be one of my favorites!
The main bummers for me: unprotected keels and seemingly way less towage than the previous amel models. Less go anywhere far off the beaten path type boat than previous models I worry. Beautiful though and no doubt built to the highest standards. Can't have everything in a sailboat though. I wouldn't say no

Imho Amel builds some of the smartest sailboats possible. Great ideas incorporated into a comfortable and sea-kindly design. Pricey but worth it!
