At what point would you suggest abandoning this Pen Name and starting a Pen Name for this niche? Jennifer

I wanted to know if you could do a video where you could go on KDP and review some of your subscribers books, say what you think about them/what the author could do to make them better... your videos are always an inspiration to me. i'm an overweight kdp author who started fasting after hearing you talk about it in one of your videos. I do 16-hour fasts, I want to do 18, but it's hard with my schedule. fasting has helped me develop discipline with my diet. anytime i watch one of your videos, i feel like i get a little bit more skilled as an independent author.

I had tried to start KDP in early 2021, but had heart surgery the year before which complicated my condition for the next two plus years. So now, even though a senior citizen and retired, trying to the best of my ability to start it again. However, the landscape has changed - much more competitive. So it requires hunkering down and getting serious with the process. I am presently study in a couple of KDP courses and have KDSpy and Publisher Rocket. At this, juncture, my focus is on whether low or medium content following the rules of engagement. May get involved with the health and dieting niche, drilling down, but will see when I start the process, God willing. I am a subscriber, new, with the notification bell on to follow what you have been doing etc., to keep up with the vocabulary and trends, etc. One day at a time with focused goals. Thanks for much for your insights. I will keep listening. 👍

Hi. I also pay for canva pro and my books are being blocked even though I created something original using pro elements. Does this mean books with Pro fonts will be blocked too?

@JennyHansenLane Great video! Thank you. Just one question, in the prohibited uses section, the header you show at minute 4:44 says that the listed prohibitions apply to both free and pro elements. Then you show point 13 of that section "use or display Content in a manner that gives the impression that the Content was created by you or a person other than the copyright holder of the Content (including without limitation, by claiming ownership of, or exclusive rights to, the Content). Your interpretation is that point 13 only applies to pro elements (but not apply to free elements). What would be the argument? Thanks again!!

I use Creative Fabrica and adapt the pictures to make craft patterns. Everything is getting blocked at the moment.

Good info but you're scaled WAYYYY higher than most people. We want an ad strategy from a person with a $100-$300 launch budget total. Not per day, total.

What size are they? I hadn't thought of tiny journals....until now. :) Please let us know how successful they are!! Congrats on using your own art for the covers--and I've done that technique with paper too! Plus, one of the main things, when I started KDP, I would use my own art work/photography on my covers. Cool stuff!

I am confused with steps 3 and 4. For example, let's say I am in step 3 and my loose match is not profitable so I turn it off. For step 4 scale, do I only create 3 campaigns 1 one for sub, 1 for close, and 1 for compliments instead of the 4 which would include the loose that wasn't profitable in step 3?

Aren't canva pro elements can be used commercially? Or was a page only including a can element and it caused duplicated contenct on the platform?
