Better then Unkown Pleasures

I admit I didn't like this the first two times I listened to it years ago. But recently it's really grown on me and I think it might actually be better than Unknown Pleasures.

This album changed everything in the world of music.

"I've got to find my destiny, before it gets to late." Hopefully that's less than 24 hours away.

This music might not be "happy," but it is still life affirming. All of us have faced dark emotions and sorrow. I'm going through some of it right now, and this is helping me face those feelings in a healthy way. It's so sad that Ian took his own life but I don't think his art necessarily had anything to do with it. He was facing so many other issues in his life and I think this music helped him hang on for as long as he did. Ian, you gave us all so much and had so much more to give -- your songs are helping us hang on through times of adversity, not give up.

the hihats are rather "hairy".... Im yearning for that tight Will Kennedy sound, im blessed beyond though, then there's Bob Mintzer,

In May 1980 I was all set to go see Joy Division in their first American tour. Then I heard the news. I wasn't surprised, just didn't think he'd do it that soon. Amazing that such a young man had such deep focus and understanding of his reality to write so well.

At 3:33 in the video the first camera he opens up is an F100 without a rear screen. Then! At 3:44 in the video, he closes the film back, suddenly the screen on the back shows us that it's an F6 body he's just loaded! Goodness knows what all that is about 😂 But his photos at the end were wonderful
