As a composer and singer I am passionate about creating dynamic music that is full of energy and passion. I live on the beautiful North Norfolk coast in the UK. Commissions in 2020 include: FAST for Spitalfields Festival, ORANGE for English Touring Opera and The Frontline Worker for Skipton Camerata. For 2021 in the pipe line: A dance/installation "The Anatomy of a Woman" , "The Red Book" my 5th Symphony and "Baba Yaga" an opera for young people. I Studied at The Royal College of Music and Cambridge University. I have just completed my doctorate at Royal Birmingham Conservatoire . My key supervisors were Joe Cutler, Elizabeth Kelly , Howard Skempton. Errollyn Wallen, Richard Ayes, Jeremy Thurlow, Richard Causton and Stephen Dodgson. I love eclectic music ranging from Dowland, Bach, Bruckner, Wagner, Berg, Ives, Ligetti and Cage to Reich, Richter, Eilish, Lang, Monk and Skempton. Sounds a very movemented piece - certainly makes me want to hear it all. I'm wondering if the single notes at about 0:29 and 0:31 represent the call of the Scops Owl, so characteristic of nights on Skyros?
