Eiji has come a long way from the boy who hid in Aincrad and the young man who cheated and tried but failed to make Kirito feel weak in ordinal scale. He's better now, still not a big fan of this character but I'm happy he's gotten some great development and this fight redeems him from his past mistakes. A good fight!

I find it funny how people complain about this fight. Yeah, Eiji may not be using an STL; but, that doesn't mean he can't use incarnation. We've seen incarnation used multiple times with both the NerveGear and the Atmosphmmmere. It shows how mentally strong Eiji has become. He may have lost the fight; but, his character development grew exponentially.
