I'm currently 30 hours in on chapter 8 of Visions of Mana. I love this game. The collector's edition is awesome. I only got the standard edition for Xbox but it did come with an awesome steelbook
I wish mine came with a Steelbook! I feel like for $200, this edition could have come with one. You’re going through the game a lot faster than me! I’m several hours in and still somehow only at the beginning of Chapter 2 😅

I have only played Final Fantasy Adventure and half of Secret of Mana, and I actually preferred FF Adventure. I will finish Secret of Mana after I complete Visions, and plan to play the rest of the games after that too.

Apologies for the late reply, but yes! There’s quite a few nanoblock Pokémon. Bulbapedia has a complete list of ones that have been released, the next ones releasing in September are Ceruledge, Armarouge, and Tinkaton!

I recently replaced the battery on my Gold Edition and my Blue Edition. I really liked Gold, but is has some flaws that I cannot overlook nowadays. I also liked Ruby and Sapphire a lot. The battery problem is bad though. You don‘t lose your savegame, but without the time based events it‘s only half as fun. I might replace those batteries as well and start a new game in the future to revive the nostalgia. FireRed was great too. I played a lot of Pokémon White as well. If HeartGold was not so expensive nowadays, I would buy that one. It‘s the remake of my favorite gen.
Yeah, the first two gens really show their age now. They were great back in the day, but it’s hard to return to them. It’s crazy how expensive the Pokémon games are now! Makes me glad I never sold my games because I would have really regretted it.

You had the same indigo GBC as I did as a kid Respect So many hours spent in Blue, Yellow and Crystal back in School. lol I dug them back up a while ago and ended up soldering new batteries on my games and added a new screen to my SP with USB C recharging
I have a friend who does console repairs, I should see if they could replace my cartridge batteries and fix my SP screen 🤔 I don’t trust myself to do it 😅

Grew up with Gen1 but never completed it; but played Gen3, completed it and absolutely adored Sapphire with a passion in a way that hit different compared to my Pokemon Blue! Pokemon Silver was also a very strange combination of both half beaten it; half adore it as well 😂
Gen 3 really was a great gen. A huge step up for the franchise and the games still hold up today

Thanks for the throwback. I used to grow up playing/collecting pokemon cards and played the games up to Gen 3 with Ruby and Emerald. All those 300+ pokemon, moves, Natures, EVs, IVs I still can't forget. Even looking at that map reminds me where the waterfall to the Elite four are, the twins island, the Nosepass gym island (guess I never really remembered the town names, besides Verdanturf Town which I would go into just to listen to the music )
That’s the crazy thing about Pokémon, it somehow sticks with you. I’ve learned names of native plants and they all flew out of my brain, but you bet I can name all 1000+ Pokémon 😂
