​@@framewithgrain hv not had any close brushes with batteries but knowing that they're chemically charged somewhat, last thing I want is them leaking or something and destroying the data on my cards. How are we going to re-shoot say events and weddings?

Hey man, thanks for the comment. I do agree, however I think they made it because the hood is quite heavy and after some time that "click" type of locking hoods become loose. I guess Sigma wouldn't go for that for no reason. 🤔

@@framewithgrain I saw a comparison with the Tamron 70-180 G2. And I like Tamron better in terms of bokeh and depth of the picture, it gives depth and plasticity to the photos. The bokeh of Sigma is too crystalline like taken with an iPhone.

@@framewithgrain Also, the Tamron is more compact and weighs almost half as much

@@framewithgrain Right now I'm choosing between these two lenses, Tamron or Sigma, so that it will last a long time and won't break in a year, or the rubber band of the zoom ring won't come off.

Unlike a tripod, as the name suggests, it has only a single pod :) Obviously, some b-rolls are missing in the video. Very good point brotha )) thanks for the question. Long story short, it adds stability to your camera. Mostly used for photography.
