It was interesting hearing from Jay and Gareth at the VES Renderman event at SIGGRAPH. Jay talked about how Gareth brought them footage that had no motion capture data, shot on location in asia, and would ask them to create the visual effects, which often included creating that motion capture data from the single perspective camera shots, and then overlaying the effects for things like turing a person into a simulant or robot, and augmenting the scenes with digital assets. They also rendered the stuff on a massive renderfarm utilizing a ton of AMD cores. I don't remember the demon dog chasing the RC trap. I thought the demon dog in Walmart was a practical prop... impressive

Fascinating to see the early visuals and how well you polished the cgi to feel like the original special effects The mini marshmallow men you could tell were CGI but everything else felt on point perfectly

Amazing work and the final movie was a treat!
